Very friendly and informed staff. Most of the food and ingredients except flour tortillas, tacos salad shells, Tortas, and the desserts are gluten free. The restaurant is set up similar to Moe’s or chapotle but with more authentic Mexican ingredients and the option to have fusion food or pho as well. All of the available options to put in your tacco, burrito, quesadilla, pho-ritos (a fusion of Mexican and pho), nachos, and/or pho are gluten free. They have corn tortillas available and/or gluten free wraps for burritos or quesadillas. They will change their gloves and cover the Panini press and/or grill with tin foil if a gluten allergy is mentioned to keep your food from touch the surface that has come in contact with gluten. I have tried most of the food on the menu all of which is delicious. The owner is Mexican American originally from southern Texas near the Mexican border. He is extremely sweet, helpful, and hard working. There will rarely be a visit to mexipho that he is not there either cooking or helping to make your food in the front of the shop. Seating in available but this is an awesome take out option.
