Excellent food, ambiance, and service. Separate GF menu. Gluten free chips. They even made a GF meal that was not featured on the GF menu- chicken quesadillas made of four corn tortillas filled with chicken and cheese. My daughter loved it and the serving size!

Mi Casa is a great Mexican restaurant. We loved coming here before our switch to GF, and feel comfortable eating here now. We were served separate GF chips and salsa bowls. Our entrees were amazing (elk tacos)!

Wanted to like this place bc they have GF options on the menu. The food was really poor quality and cold. My daughter’s (Celiac) taco was very bland. My enchiladas were cold and it seemed like the cheese came out of a jar. The salsa was good but you need GF chips separately bc the ones they bring are from their non-gf fryer. Staff wasn’t very friendly - felt like they just wanted us out. I honestly don’t think we will ever go back here given our experience and with so many other options in town. Clearly some others have had better experiences so maybe we caught them on an off night.

I ordered the GF fish tacos. My meal came out marked as GF. I tested it with my Nima sensor and no gluten was detected! I failed to mention before the meal they brought me GF chips and my own bowl of salsa. It was all delicious and most importantly, safe to eat.

The staff was friendly, and it seemed like a popular place to eat. However the food is terrible. Gluten free or not. There were 4 of us, and we all tried different entrees. They were all OK at best. The margaritas on the other hand were great!

GF menu. Careful preparation. Highly recommend this place.
Very tasty food, Gluten free menu. Even offered some okay GF vegetarian options.
They have a separate gluten free menu with a lot of options! Food was delicious. They have separate gluten free chips, they’re from a bag, so not the greatest but at least they have something. The staff was very knowledge. I felt very safe eating here!
Yes
Had the chicken and sour cream enchiladas! A large majority of the menu they can make gluten free. Just sub corn tortillas and tell the waiting staff of the allergy.
Salsa choice was good. Not authentic Mexican. Staff grabbed gluten free chips with her hands and put them in the basket. The views are beautiful.
Great GF margaritas—order with triple sec and lime juice. Server very knowledgeable. Good selection. Also, great patio for the summer!
Yes
Staff was very accommodating to help with a kids menu item to be gluten free. The brought out separate chips as well. Good food. Service was a little slow that night, but it was a busy evening. Would go back!
Yes
Go here for happy hour, 3-6. Delicious margaritas and gf options. The friendly waitstaff is knowledgeable about what we can and can not eat.
Food was okay flavor wise. I didn't get sick and they seemed to know what they were talking about with cross contamination.
Yes
Really gross food. Coming from California, it's hard to gauge "Mexican food" here, but this is tex mex to the max. The decor is not tasteful and the Spanish music makes it seem more like a theme park than a restaurant. I had not ever tasted overcooked fish before I visited Mi Casa! At the suggestion of our waiter, we got fish tacos.... I couldn't even eat them. I took one bite out of the taco, which had just one log-shaped piece of wahoo fish, and spit it out. It was grossly overcooked and extremely dry. I could not even cut through it with a knife. The yogurt sauce did not belong on a taco, the beans were extremely salty, and the rice looked like it came out of a box. We also got chicken cantina nachos as an appetizer, which tasted okay, but again the guacamole was extremely over-salted and the chicken had absolutely no seasoning on it. While I appreciate their offering for a gluten free menu as I have celiac, this is one of those places that just isn't good regardless. Very pretty views out their window, if only the food was edible!
Yes
They have a good gf menu and our waiter was very knowledgeable. Their house chips are in a shared fryer (so not safe) but they will bring you a bowl of Tostitos and your own salsas. Food was delicious and staff very friendly!
Yes
great GF fajitas, knowledgeable and accomodating server.
Really good gf menu and great food!

My celiac daughter was sick from gluten after eating here. Server used her bare hands to place gluten free tortilla chips on the basket. We should have ran! Food was just ok.
No
Place had dedicated GF menu and provided GF chip with the salsa. My son has celiac and had no issues. Recommend this place if you are in Breck and want Mexican.
Food was pretty good and husband is a celiac and did not get glutened. They knew to bring out some storebrand gluten-free chips for us. Beware though, it's mobbed, and you will spend much of the long wait in a confined and crowded hallway. No reservations are possible. For these reasons, I think there are better choices for celiacs in the area.
Yes
Seemed very knowledgeable and helpful regarding Celiac. As soon as I asked for a gluten free menu, our server immediately knew to bring us special (store bought) chips. They were very helpful and accommodating and my children with Celiac enjoyed their food.

Had lunch here and didn't have any issues with the food. The GF menu was nice and they were both knowledgeable and very accommodating.

Horrible. I sat for 30 minutes without being served. Completely unacceptable.
food was delicious but I unfortunately was very sick from gluten.
Great food, no reaction.
Yes
They were very careful. Even brought separate dip with the GF chips so I would not be cross-contaminated. Thank you!
Yes
Service left a lot to be desired. Nachos were microwaved. Gluten free, but not very good. Had to serve your own chips and salsa. Salsa was way too spicy.
Yes
The chili con queso was the best, otherwise it was decent. It was very nice of them to have GF chips (seemed to be Tostitos Rounds). The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife is very gluten-sensitive and didn't have a reaction.

Second year great service. This time tested steak fahitas with Elisa gluten test kit--Negative for gluten.

Good food and great service. The sweet potato tacos can be made GF and were delicious!

Great Mexican food, even for those who like it a little spicy. Milder options are available though. Friendly, helpful staff and great views. The chorizo stuffed chicken was the best!
Great place, and had its own GF menu, including fish tacos. The waiter even asked if I was allergic or intolerant.
Yes
it's great when the wait staff addresses your gluten intolerance with the proper terminology & is knowledgeable! Great margaritas, food isn't bad either!
My family came to Breckenridge for a vacation. Of the four of us, two have to be glute free. We found Mi Casa and came twice. Excellent gluten-free choices and waitress was very knoweledgable. The first night, my son and I had the gluten-free enchiladas, which were very good. The second time, I requested a pulled chicken nacho platter (not on the menu). No problem. It was delicious. We were there during happy hour and my son got the $1 tacos, which he said were excellent. Prices are very reasonable and service was excellent. As another reviewer mentioned, you want to get there early or you will be standing in line.
This place is good but crazy busy during ski season. Get there early or spend a lot of time in the hall waiting. Nice selection of gf foods and a basket of gf chips that is different from the other tables (gf is a bagged chip, but not cooked with the other fried items like the regular chips).
GF menu and staff was knowledgeable. Good tasting food.
Real Mexican food with a dedicated menu. Meal didn't come exactly as listed on the menu (black beans instead of refried beans) but everything tasted great.
Lots of gluten free options, great food
Great selection and knowledgeable. The spinach enchiladas were great
Great GF options including my favorite fish tacos which came with rice and black beans. I will definitely go back!
gluten free menu and knowledgeable staff
Mi Casa has become my go-to restaurant in Breck for a great gluten-free meal. Always great food - they have by far the BEST guacamole and the elk enchiladas are amazing!
What a WONDERFUL place to eat! I had such confidence eating at Mi Casa since the staff was so knowledgeable about gluten free dining and cross contamination. Our waiter Ben brought me separate salsa and GF chips, my meal had a special flag to indicate gluten free and I was even able to have a delicious GF Margarita. It was a perfectly delicious meal for myself and my non-GF family. Mi Casa made our trip to Breckenridge fantastic. Can't wait to go back!
Pleasant enough. They will provide separate gf chips and had some dinner options. I had grilled salmon and it was quite good. The best part of Hubby's buffalo fajitas were the vegetables.
