Michael's has been a consistent "safe" bet for me when visiting family in Moses Lake. While gluten-free items are not marked on the menu, our servers have always been incredibly well versed in what items are safe and what modifications are possible. They have gluten free buns to substitute as well as a few options where you can totally omit the gluten items without losing much in the experience. Tonight, my server was fairly certain about one dish being gluten free, but she said she would double check before placing the order. She followed through and came back to get a different option for me when it was discovered they used normal soy sauce. She was very thorough and very thoughtful. The person who delivered our meal also made extra sure that they were taking precautions.
They do NOT have a gluten free fryer, alas, but the roasted potatoes were a delicious substitute. I think of the restaurant as being expensive, but it wasn't as bad as I remembered. We got three kids burgers and fries, a giant Asian salad, and a lovely salmon entree plus soft drinks for under $100. I'll definitely be back!
Stopped here on a trip from seattle to Spokane after seeing good reviews. Server was very knowledgeable about which items had gluten, and said almost everything can be made gluten free (except for pastas). Menu specifically said most items can be made gluten free. One of their daily specials was a coconut cashew encrusted halibut which was already gf and I had it - it was delectable. My husband had a burger with dipping sauce. Both were great, and the kitchen got our special requests perfect - no cheese, mustard instead of mayo, etc
