The menu stated which items are GF and their website has a list of which menu items to stay away from. My dinner was delicious!
The fun thing about this place is that it is in a mall food court. So lots of options for a group. This place had decent food with GF options clearly marked. Can sit by windows and watch the harbor.
Everything but the bread is gf. I had no reaction and loved everything I order. Burnt ends and the dirty fries are a must!
This BBQ is delicious! I went in after reading the other review. Most of the meat is GF and the potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw are too. The crispy chicken is not though, and one of the preparers told me it was before the other corrected him. Innocent mistake and no harm done, but just double check with them for each item because he had said all of the meat was. I didn't ask about the dedicated fryer. Very good lunch. Will go back.
Currently three locations in NYC. Almost everything is gluten free and the fryer is dedicated. Great barbeque at reasonable prices. As a celiac, I always feel bad asking that gloves be removed but as soon as I said I needed to be gluten free, the server did so without my asking. Highly recommend.
I've had lunch here many times, without any issues or problems but if you are celiac, I would be careful about cross contamination. The menu clearly shows which items are gluten free. The food is relatively inexpensive and cost even less if you order the lunch specials (good to 3PM). The food is delicious, especially the pulled pork.
