Super confused how so many have been here with a positive experience. They may have a “celiac” menu but it wasn’t safe for this celiac. Managed to go days in Killarney and Doolin without being sick and first meal at Millstone in Dublin and I’m terribly ill. Would not recommend.

Pretty bomb.com price was worth what you got for sure. About $47 for a 7oz steak. Service was great and atmosphere was chill. Don’t go in sweatpants but you don’t need to be dressed to the 9s.

Dedicated GF menu with great options. I got the portobello mushroom starter and GF fish and chips. Both were amazing, and the F&C were surprisingly crispy, especially for being gluten free. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at this gem of a restaurant. Separate Coeliac Menu with many choices. Frites are cooked in a dedicated fryer. My striploin was amazingly tender and very delicious. My husband's burger was one of the best he's ever had. Great service and a really gorgeous interior. Our waitress told us that they have many regular GF customers who always rave about the selection and safety. We stopped in for lunch and the lunch menu is very reasonably priced.
I struggled a bit finding safe GF restaurants in Dublin, but Millstone was a wonderful experience! A must visit!

Excellent food. Has a separate “Coeliac Friendly” menu. They won’t guarantee no cross contamination, but for Dublin this was one of the best places I found. Waiter said that they try to keep things separate in the kitchen. In their system dishes from the gluten free menu are identified separately, so you know the kitchen is getting the right instructions. The servers who come with the food also know it’s a gf dish. I’d recommend getting a reservation or going at off peak times as it gets pretty packed by 6 PM

Had the gluten free cheese bread, wings, and the fish and chips!!! Everything was absolutely delicious and I had no issues. The breading that they use for the Non GF fish and chips is the same breading they use for the GF fish and chips, the only reason the Non GF Fish and Chips is not GF is because they serve malt vinegar on the side and that is not GF.

Burger was very fatty and bland.
Unfortunately got sick.
The gluten free menu included a beer bartered fish dish. When I asked if it was gluten free beer used, they didn’t understand why I was asking. Then when I asked if they had a dedicated/separate fryer they just said “fries are gluten free”
Would not recommend for Celiac.

Staff were so kind and friendly and knowledgeable about celiac. Enjoy a very yummy dinner.
Fish and chips were great as was the garlic pesto toast, wings and mussels. Those in our party that ate menu items that were not gluten free loved their meals too. Would go back again for sure!

Well I am very sad to say that almost as soon as I wrote my review, I became violently sick. I am celiac and a full wheat allergy. The food was amazing and they have a great celiac menu but something was for sure contaminated and made me extremely sick. I hate to say that because the food was so good-maybe those with a lesser allergy do better but sadly, I did not.

I have celiac. I cannot say enough good things about Millstone. It seems to me that it’s about as good as it gets for a restaurant that does not have a GF kitchen. Their menu specifically references celiac and describes in reassuring language what they do to minimize cross-contamination risk. Our servers (we went there twice in three days) were knowledgeable and had specific recommendations about the safest options. The food was fantastic. At the time they were doing a starter and main course option for under €30. Every starter and every main course was delicious. My wife and I spent two weeks in Ireland and I’d say that Millstone was the best restaurant we visited. Highest recommendation.

Delicious. Had fish and chips which were amazing and my son had the lamb which was soft and covered in delicious, safe gravy (we are gluten sensitive not celiac). My tip would be when dessert menus come ask for a gf dessert menu because they have them and we missed out. Easy location.

Edit: After I wrote this review, my son got really sick. His fish and chips looked exactly like the gluteny fish and chips. The waiter said it was definitely gf, but it definitely wasn't. He missed 1 1/2 days of our vacation.
Everyone was aware of celiac and gluten free. Three in our party are celiac, and among us we has the fish and chips, steak and cheeseburger. Steak was chewy and bland, but the burger and fish were both really good. Definitely recommend this place.

Ate dinner here and had a good experience. There are several options on the GF menu (though only 1 veggie main). I had the lamb shank, which was good. We had the creme brûlée for dessert (the only GF option), which was also tasty. Overall I wasn’t blown away by the food or wine options, but I enjoyed myself and felt confident my food was safe. The atmosphere is definitely very touristy.
