There is NOT a gf menu, and the regular food menu is limited. They have gf buns and pizza crusts, that is about it. Ended up getting a burger, but the sides are not gf so I had to pay $1.50 for a very small side salad. It was very disappointing.

Ate at the one in downtown Milwaukee. As the previous reviewer noted they don't have a clue. Got cross contamination pain. Would not recommend to very sensitive celiacs. Food was average.

Hands down one of the worst gluten free experiences we have had. Celiacs - STAY away from the Milwaukee Ale House. I am so mad I could 'spit nails' as my mother would say. When you say "Gluten Free Menu" then mean it. People's lives are at stake and not only was our waiter clueless, but so was the manager and kitchen staff. The manager claimed that the "Whiskey Salmon" was gluten free because the "rye in the whiskey burns off during cooking" Seriously, and Oh Dear God are you misinformed! And since my husband lives on the edge, he decided that he would try the gluten free pot-roast instead since it seemed like a safer choice. They brought the dish out with a very large onion ring on top. When I asked how the onion ring was made, the waiter said "It is a flour/beer battered recipe." Again, clueless. This is not an oversight, it is cruel negligence to a group of people they claim to take care of, but really they falsely advertise to get you to come into the door and spend your money. Not only will I never go there again, I will warn everyone I know to stay away.
