Sign indicating they only take card payments isn't posted on the door, but rather near the register after waiting in line for customers to see then, and I was told they no longer make any items gluten free. However that being said, the Cafe Meil coffee with oat milk is delicious

Call ahead to ask if they have a separate and dedicated waffle iron for gluten-free again. They used to, but it's been broken.
I didn't eat here but called and they said they discontinued GF waffles due to concerns about cross contamination. Bummed but appreciate the honesty.

The waffles can be made gluten free but they have no separate iron. I asked them to clean it for me and they did. I did not get sick and in fact i felt great after which means they have quality ingredients as well. Best waffle of my life. But perhaps severe celiacs should steer clear.

They don’t use a separate iron for GF waffles. The coffee was good though!

Let me say I didn't go in person to this restaurant. We planned to go on a recent trip, but I reached out prior to going and spoke to someone named Steven from there (I believe he's the the owner). I asked about precautions taken for Celiacs. He told me the establishment normally has a dedicated gluten-free waffle iron that is Celiac safe, and they use it on weekend mornings only (the demand for gf dough is too low for them to have it available every day). However, recently they had an electrical issue that's caused their dedicated iron not to work, so for now they are making sure to let customers know they are using shared equipment (because they don't have a choice). I wish fixing this was a higher priority for them, as it's been broken for a month or so now (I reached back out a few days ago to confirm), but I was extremely impressed with the honesty even when they knew they'd be losing a customer by being up front about everything. I hope they get this issue fixed quickly, because I'd be more than happy to eat here whenever they say it's safe. They've earned my trust even if this isn't a safe establishment for Celiacs right now. Also, I trust Steven when he said that their coffees offered are gluten-free. As I said, I haven't been to this restaurant, but I'd recommend you calling or emailing ahead of your trip and asking if this situation is fixed.

This is for the celiacs out there. They don't wipe down the waffle iron after making regular crepes or rather, won't or can't, nor do they have a second waffle iron. Not really sure why they make gluten free waffle batter. I suppose this is just for the people who want to cut down on their gluten intake. I was so excited to eat there and then had to leave and find another place. They seemed pleased with themselves that they couldn't make the waffles really gluten free. All the women were grinning like a cat that got a mouse. Usually people are indifferent or polite. I haven't ever encountered this attitude before in an eating establishment. My boyfriend did order a coffee to go which I wish he hadn't so we were technically customers. I can't post this without saying they have some GF items on the menu but nothing is actually GF.

Gluten free waffles are good but use the same iron as the regular waffles. Also they only offer gluten free Friday-Sunday, because apparently people only have celiac disease/ gluten intolerance/ gluten allergy on the weekends. Rude and inconsiderate.

We had 3 gluten free waffles because we couldn’t decide! Any waffle on the menu can be made gluten free which is a treat not often found for gluten free peeps! We had the lemon zinger, the fluffed butter and the croque monsieur-they were all delicious!! 🧇

My wife is celiac and I am not. Stopped here for lunch. Is there anything better than to announce that you're a celiac and have the person behind the counter perk up and say "we got ya." The restaurant offers GF waffles. My wife ordered the GF peach cobbler and I the GF lemon zinger. This way we can sample both. My wife has a sweet tooth and I...not so. The waffles tasted great except that my taste buds were overwhelmed by the sweetness sooner then my wives. That said, with freshly ground and brewed coffee in hand I somehow found the ability to handle my half of the food.
Food is love so we try to acknowledge when a restaurant works to offer GF options. As with so many small restaurants we found out that the owner's family has a number of celiacs. 70 degree sunny day sitting outside in beautiful Savanah, Georgia and enjoying good food. Feel the love.

Great gluten free waffles. Every waffle can be gluten free.
We stayed right down the street from Mirabelle and checked it out for lunch today. The menu states that all waffles can be made gluten free (the paninis cannot). My kids both ordered the Fluffernutter, I ordered the savory Croque Monsieur, my husband ordered a panini and said it was great. Raves all around! We will definitely go back again.
