Mission BBQ

They are tuned into gf from ordering to food delivery. The order is prepped with fresh gloves, rubs and spices are gf. I only like a couple of their sauces, but they’re GF. French fries are gf - they don’t fry anything else. Is it perfect BBQ? Maybe an 8/10. My non gf husband loves the food. Definitely recommend.

Great place for quality bbq without the worry of cross-contamination. They even have gf fries! 11/12 sauces are gf. Staff knowledgeable and communicated with kitchen.

This place is always so careful with gluten free. The manager told me he has a family member with Celiac. Have never had an issue with my order and I eat her all the time. All their meat and many of the sauces are gluten free.

The order taker displayed interest in my concern for needing gluten-free food and ensure cross contamination would not occur.

When I got there to pick up my order, the manager was the one that gave it to me and explained they took the the necessary procautions and showed my my food orders. Even gave me a sampler of their different sauces since eitbwas my first time trying the place out.

I have finally found a wtellart BBQ place I can safely eat at. The food was great, sauces were great and so were the people.

10/10 would eat there again.

I would not feel comfortable coming back. Meat was pretty good, but sauces were not very good - we tried 4 and didn't really like any of them. Normally we like about 3/4 of the sauce flavors we test at other places. It looked like the woman serving meat changed her gloves, but then the guy scooping sides put the stuff right into the cups he'd been fidgeting with and rubbing his gloves all over (shortly after touching buns). All the sides were right up against each other also so it seemed like a risk of contamination from the macaroni. I didn't feel safe after that so my boyfriend ate the sides himself - he said the beans were ok but the green beans were mushy and pretty bad.

Had a great experience at Mission BBQ Peoria! They review your to-go order with you before handing it over, which is appreciated. Cornbread (not GF) had been added to our order, but the manager noticed it right away and had our meals replaced quickly. Food was great, and the size of the gluten free menu is impressive. Would recommend!

excellent food and service and atmosphere. they greatly appreciate and honor those in public service (LEO, military, fire, etc.) everyday at noon they stop and honor America. the TURKEY with rice is phenomenal! several BBQ sauces available and labeled GF

They had a dedicated GF menu. When I told them I have Celiac they instantly pulled out the menu and explained everything on it including which sauce wasn’t ok for me to have (it was only 1).

Upon ordering the staff called back and stated each item was for gluten free. Extremely knowledgeable staff and I did not get sick!

Amazed as we watched the prep chef wash his hands, the scale and prep area. Read the other reviews because they are right. Fall of the bone ribs you couldn't cut with a knife because it too tender.
