Very accommodating and informative! Separate GF menu and all BBQ sauces other than the Texas Twang are GF! Delicious ribs!
One of the best BBQ places I have experienced. There are a lot of options. Each plate comes with cornbread so you just need to let the staff know about gluten issues when you order.
So good! Separate GF menu. Lots of options.
Ate here on a quick trip to Nashville based on reviews from this site. Place was super clean, staff was great and food was fast and yummy. We ended up eating here the next day too. First day they accidentally put cornbread on my plate, but as soon as I started to comment they took the tray and replaced with all new minus the cornbread. Pulled pork and FRENCH FRIES! Yum. Son who also can't eat gluten enjoyed trying all (minus one that isn't gfree) the bbq sauces. No one had issues either meal.
Best BBQ place in Nashville! Definitely must go!
Very friendly staff and seemed knowledgeable of celiac disease.
I was so impressed by the way they handled my food after I informed them I had celiac. They changed their gloves, were very careful in putting my food together, wiped down the prep area, had a dedicated gluten free menu with many options, etc! Food was tasty! I especially enjoyed the pulled pork (all pork no fat) and the cole slaw. Great place!
I'm mildly obsessed with this place. FINALLY someplace I can eat real food when we go out to a movie. The pulled pork is amazing. The fries are gluten free (Yaaaaay!) Just tell them no corn bread- ask them to make it gluten free. They will change their gloves etc. They always do a great job and make me feel like they care. I eat here all the time. Honestly the portions are so huge that my fiancé and I end up splitting a meal sometimes!
Great attention to detail. Employees wiped down work station and changed gloves. This place gets it. Along with being celiac friendly - the food is just amazing. I also am really proud of the way they acknowledge those who served/are serving. This is the way veterans should be treated everywhere. I wish I could give this place 6 stars because that's just how great my experience was here.
Gluten free menu with many choices. Delicious food. Knowledgeable staff.
This place was fabulous!!!! 5++++ stars!!! Love the food and service!!!!!
Great gluten free option. The pulled chicken, ribs and jalapeño cheddar sausage is great. The brisket was average in my opinion. Dedicated fryer so fries are gf.
Great gluten free options and knowledable staff. They only fry French fries so they are safe and fresh cut. Almost all sauces are safe and they have several sides to choose from. highly recommended!
The person who took my order didn't seem to understand what Celiac meant so the server put cornbread on my tray. When I said I couldn't eat off that tray the manager was AWESOME! He explained they needed to redo the order, change gloves and clean their work space. The food was safe and oh so delicious. My new favorite place to eat!
Oh my goodness. Very Celiac friendly. As others mentioned they have a separate menu and make an announcement when ordering. Lots of options and sides. My husband and I shared brisket, ribs, fries and coleslaw. Only one sauce isn't GF and that is the "Texas Twang". Wonderful start to vacation.
We loved it! The food was excellent and the atmosphere is awesome!
Tasty BBQ salad and fries. GF menu offers many choices. I will return!
Great GF choices. I am very sensitive and do not trust most BBQ lines but these guys took my sensitivity very seriously. Great Food. Great service. This is one of my favorite places to eat!
Staff is very well trained, when I mentioned no bread on my order the cashier asked if I was gluten free before I even told her. Good selection of GF choices but beware the sauces, only 2 of the six are safe. I didn't see a gluten free menu displayed but it's easily found on their website.
Okay, I LOVE this chain and what they offer us, but if you choose this branch you need to watch prep like a hawk. No glove change, they put cornbread in with the meal and say “it doesn’t matter because it’s wrapped in tinfoil” (so you changed gloves between touching the bread and wrapping it? sure.) and twice I’ve had to stand there like I did something wrong as annoyed cooks re-prep my meal. It’s the most convenient location for me, but now I don’t want to go back.
Staff was very knowledgeable about celiacs disease and took the necessary precautions. Alerted kitchen about my order immediately and after. “Pun?” The kitchen guy made sure my order was correct and used a safe cutting board for my brisket... so far so good. Will update later if I get sick! Otherwise 5 stars!!!! We will be back!
The food is great and they are really good about gf- I have eaten here multiple times and never gotten glutened. They also have a dedicated fryer and do fries well too! The only thing they could do better is to have individually-wrapped gf buns like chick fil a does, so I don’t have to bring my own bun!
If you are very sensitive it would be good to watch closely- the guy cutting up the meat and making sandwiches didn’t change gloves at first for my gf order and I had to call them on it. The cashier also didn’t call out to the kitchen that the order was gf like the one in Richmond always does. Great food though, and love being able to get gf fries!
Had a comprehensive gf menu and staff were friendly and knowledgeable
When you get to the counter you can ask for a gluten free menu or you can check it out on their website. A lot of the menu can be prepared gf and all the sauces, but the Texas Twang, are gluten free. Great food and very friendly workers who appeared to take cross contamination seriously. I feel safe eating here at a person with Celiac.
The staff was very knowledgeable about their gluten free options. My order was coded as “gluten free” and kitchen staff took proper precautions to ensure there was no risk for cross contamination, and explained their procedures to me before I got my food. We had never been here before and the staff was very welcoming, answered all of our questions, and went the extra mile. Love the message they send and all that this company stands for, in addition to the fact that they are so accommodating. This location was very clean and staff actually offered samples and helped us clean our table. We will definitely be back!
We visited this location twice while in Canton. Both times were impressive. My son, who has Celiac Disease, felt completely comfortable eating there and had no issues afterward. The GF choices were plentiful and even included fries! He loved his meal and wishes we had a Mission BBQ close to home!
Delicious food and definitely safe for celiacs. Kitchen staff changed gloves, knife, measuring cup and cutting board to prepare my meal :-) As a sensitive celiac, I highly recommend this restaurant. Wish there were more Mission BBQ locations in NJ.
Amazing. Seriously worth a visit. Seperate frier for fries. Understanding of what gluten free means for someone with Celiac disease.
Wow-dedicated fryer for the best fries ever!! (OK, Glory Days are great too!) All of their sauces except the Tangy are GF. Most of the entress are GF (except meatloaf) and are delicious. Just beware the really creepy National Anthem display at noon where everybody is expected to drop their ribs and stand at attention in a weird, jingoistic proof of patriotism-SO inappropriate!
Amazing amazing amazing Nothing more to say
Was given a GF menu with extra information about a BBQ sauce not to eat. The order taker made sure the back staff knew this was GF even asking if they heard GF. Awesome! Dedicated fryer for fries! Recommend!! No problems and food was very good!
Read their GF menu online before going. I am very very pleased. I ordered the pulled chicken platter (request no cornbread), fries (fresh cut and dedicated fryer), and baked sweet potato (seasonal). My favorite GF bbq sauces are the classic, honey heat, and smoky moutain. Not all sauces are gluten-free so make sure to check online.
The GF menu is easy to ready online. And there’s so many options of delicious foods to eat. I don’t feel like I’m comprising here. If you’re very sensitive I’d be cautious of the sauces on the table and ask for some from the back. Some are not safe although many are. I think this is the only area I see CC risk (from guests).
Dedicated GF menu, staff was extremely accommodating - yelling down the line that my order was GF, they all changed gloves, & utensils. manager took extra care to show me the separated items in box. Told me how much he cared and had a family member with Gluten allergies. They made me feel so comfortable and food was awesome. Had the half chicken & green beans
Asked for the manager, as was recommended. I ordered the chopped brisket and fries. He was very knowledgeable and even gave an extra sample of sliced brisket so I could see the difference and pointed out which sauces have gluten. I will definitely be back.
I eat here a lot when I travel. Each person I encounter is knowledgeable about Celiac, and never made me feel like a burden! The French fries are in a dedicated fryer, and the turkey is delicious! The Texas BBQ sauce is the only of the 6 that contains gluten. The food is delicious and the customer service is exceptional!
I love BBQ! The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Only one BBQ sauce had gluten. They had a dedicated fryer for fries. The food was great. I was a happy camper.
