My son had the Gluten Free pizza but was still glutened. Cross contamination with utensils, oven and gloves.

Cross-contamination. Baked in same oven as normal pizzas.

Gluten free crust was delicious! However server didn’t change gloves and the utensil for sauce is the same for all pizzas. Pizza is also cooked in the same oven with no pan. Great place if you are just going gluten free, but would not recommend if you have celiac.

Zero stars! Gf crust is pointless! They cook it in the oven with all the other pizzas, no pan under or anything. What a waste of time and money :(
If you are Celiac DO NOT EAT HERE. They're super nice and the guy volunteered to change gloves (even wrote "ALLERGY" on my order), but they use the tomato sauce dippers to spread the sauce on the pizza; the ingredient bar is a mess; it goes in the oven without any type of pan; and then, to top it all off, they use the pizza cutter from the regular pizzas to cut it. The guy (a different one) may have realized what he was doing half way through cutting because he didn't actually finish cutting the pizza, but he didn't say anything either.

Really good thin crust pizza and very fast . My new number one lunch and lazy dinner night place :)
Amazing!!! I never try new things because I am worried about CC but this place is really good! Every one is really happy to talk to you and address any concerns you have about food prep.
Excellent pizza and "mostly" celiac-friendly. (Use separate gloves, cutters and paddles for celiacs, but they don't have a separate oven so there is a minor chance of cross contamination.) According to the manager they get GF tapioca pie shells flown in daily from a company in Venice, CA. Mod's is a west coast chain that has nine pre-fab pizzas (I tried the "Tristan" - mozzarella, Asiago, red peppers & mushrooms - and it was excellent) or you can build your own. Staff here is young, cool & very attentive. I live close-by so this will be my go-to pizza place. No delivery as of December 2014.
Yes
They have decent crust and unlimited toppings but make sure to ask for special utensils and tray, there is cross contamination so I had to be stern to ask for clean utensils, the other reno location was more precautious!

They offer a gluten free crust. Workers are always sure to change their gloves and use an allergy screen when preparing your pizza. However, items are at risk of cross contamination due to the nature of the restaurant.

Excellent service! They asked me if it was an allergy or a preference. I said allergy and they pulled all fresh ingredients to prevent cross contamination. The staff was super careful not to touch anything that was an allergen (I have multiple other allergies). Overall I was very impressed.

I like Mod Pizza. I go there about once a month when I dont want to cook. I usually get the gluten-free crust, regular sauce, diary free cheese, mushrooms, onions, banana peppers, spinach, and chickpeas. I think the vegan suasage option has gluten. I also get a big salad and omit everything with gluten or dairy.
They attempt to avoid cross contaminating with changing gloves, etc, but it is all in one area. If you have celiacs and are very sensitive probably not a good idea. I am a gluten intolerant so as long as they do as much as they can, I don't have a reaction. And it depends on the level of knowledge of the staff thar is working.
They can also accommodate me for dairy free which is amazing. I don't recall about the meat they use so be sure to ask if it has gluten. I know the regular pizza sauce is safe but check with regards to the others. I think they use only basic ingredients in their products and not a lot of additives and fillers.

While a chain, we feel this location is mindful of allergies. We’ve eaten here six times with no ‘glutening’ or a reaction for my egg/dairy allergy. We’ve even placed an order for pick up, requesting a glove change in the notes, and ate safely! The pizza is just okay though. The GF pizza leaves a lot to be desired, and the vegan cheese is a little gooey. But when we’re in a hurry, it’s nice to have a safe place to grab a quick personal pizza.
