Food develops a distinct after taste after a while.

I've always had good experiences at this location but I do always have to ask them to change their gloves because they usually forget to do it. Can't really say the staff is trained at Moe's so I rely on the website to order.

Ordered a bowl. Not sure if the chips are safe.

We had a great first experience with Moe’s. Bowls are safe for us. They do cook tortillas on a shared surface. They had allergen information displayed right on the counter where we began our order. Our kids enjoyed the white meat chicken and ground beef without any complaint of it being spicy. Sunday’s kids meals are free with purchase of an adult meal.

Chips are fried in shared fryer so I stay away from those. Otherwise I explain I have a gluten allergy and ask if they can change their gloves and they are typically pretty good about it! I always stick to their bowls and have never had an issue.

Hard shell Tacos are GF but ask for GF shells. They have an allergen chart on the counter taped to the side you can read before ordering. Most items are GF. If you explain you are celiac they are careful. So cross contact is possible, but if you tell them, much less likely. The bowls are probably the best bet and value. I had chicken and steak and no issues. I also had 3 hard shell Tacos and no issues. Do not eat the chips and salsa. No dedicated fryer for those, and are flagged on the allergen chart. For a quick, tasty, filling meal, I do recommend them. Soy sensitive items are more abundant than GF so keep that in mind if soy is a big issue for you.

Employees not knowledgeable about gluten allergy. They were willing to change gloves after I asked but then offered toppings and items containing gluten such as a tortilla or chips with the bowl despite me mentioning 3 separate times that I was celiac and couldn’t eat any gluten. They were not knowledgeable about cross contamination and couldn’t answer my questions. Within a few hours I knew there was gluten in what they had prepared despite their claims that it was gluten free and safe for celiac.
