Probably the best sushi place I’ve ever been to in San Diego. The customer service was amazing! They have GF soy sauce and eel sauce. They are very accommodating and almost everything on the menu can be modified. Food was superb and the fish tasted fresh. Would HIGHLY recommend dining here!
The hand rolls are my favorite thing to get and there are so many options for celiacs. I’ve never gotten sick and have eaten here multiple times
I tried this place for the first time with my family tonight. Both my MIL and I are allergic to gluten and they were so knowledgeable and had so many options for us. I definitely recommend the choose your own hand rolls (5 pieces) and try a bunch of them. They were so good! The customer service was great and they were very friendly.

This place is a hidden gem in an otherwise totally corporate area. Don’t let it fool you! It is one of the top 3 sushi places in San Diego. Have been twice and both times were fantastic. The salmon oshi is one of the scene stealers (get your Instagram feeds ready) and soooo delicious. And the 5-set of hand rolls (not your mother’s hand roll) are worth a trip there from wherever you are. Truly. You thought you knew sushi. Staff is SUPER conscientious about gluten- will make nearly everything on the menu gluten free and even have a GF lava cake for dessert (tho it was only so-so and they said the dessert they make in-house is the creme brûlée which is also Gf- I’ll try that next time). Owner is sometimes incognito as a busser. Don’t let him fool you- he makes a mean sashimi set. The truffle dishes are incredible. GO! You won’t be sorry.
