Momento Gelato and Coffee

Besides celiac, I have developed an intolerance and allergy to dairy. So I was really happy when I had a couple options to choose from that were gluten free and vegan.

I had a coconut ice cream and It was delicious!

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?

— Very

How much of the menu is available gluten-free?

— Some

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They now have cookies and crème which is not gluten free. They have separate scoops for the different flavors but from what I saw there was no precautions taken with any gloves being changed when scooping the cookies and crème, and there was definitely cross contamination occurring. If you’re not too sensitive, this is probably ok. But I did not eat here as I am extremely sensitive to any cross contact.

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?

— Not very

The gelato is amazing!!! The manager actually has celiac and when I called to ask about precautions, they confirmed that all flavors are 100% gluten free. They do use cones but they train their staff how to scoop it so it never touches the cone. If you’re still nervous, they will be happy to use a new scoop and from a new container. It’s a perfect way to end a date night!

The General Manager here has Celiac's and every one of their flavors is 100% gf. Each container also has its own scoops and has lids on it. They scoop into cones, but don't ever let the scoop touch the cone. Syrups for lattes are also 100% vegan and gf. Good vegan options for gelato too.

Workers are happy to change gloves and scoops when asked.
