I love that they have their own fryer which means my celiac son can have frenchfries! Yay! The owners father has celiac so they are very aware of the precautions to take, owner came right over to us and explained the safety precautions they take for cross contamination. Friendly staff, great experience, close by to my house and my son did not get sick!
Tasty food, safe, several choices on the entre menu, a few appetizers and a flourless chocolate cake! Note: I asked my waitress if they have to turn on the grill, and GF frier, as another person wrote here. She said that they used to turn on when someone needed them, but in the last year they get GF customers every day, so they always have them on now.
I really liked the place. It's been a while that I ordered a burger at a restaurant. I was skeptic, but the waiter assured me of my "gluten-free" meal. My burger was really good! I missed having a place that was local and carried good food.
We came in hungry with a young child and an infant. I asked about the gluten free menu. Yes, I could have a burger and fries! Great. Except they didn't tell me it would take an hour since they had to heat up the dedicated grill. I would not have ordered that if I knew it would take an hour. And the fries were not great after all that. Disappointed. Will not return.
