Staff is not knowledgeable about handling their pizzas separately. The pizza is cooked in it’s own pan and tastes good but if you’re there for Celiac it is NOT safe. I got sick and shouldn’t of tried it again because I instantly regretted it.
Several choices of GF pizza available. The first night I ate there they we're overwhelmed but the on duty manager delivered my pizza. Very good. Second time we visited the waitress brought it but separately from other pizza. I'm very sensitive to cross contamination but ate safely here twice! No problems! When in the area will return!
I suggest if you want a great gluten free pizza crust and a good staff go to the Fishers location!!! I believe my server was high and gave me a completely different pizza. Crust is good but having stomach pains so I strongly suggest going to the Fishers location.
Their gluten free pizza is so yummy! I would not eat here if you are celiac but if you have a gluten sensitivity or preference you should be fine! They cook the GF pizza on a foil pan but it goes in the same oven as their regular pizza.
I have gotten the gluten free pizza here several times and never had a reaction. The first time I got it however, there was a ton of sauce and very little cheese. It wasn’t that great, but since then I order it with extra cheese and it’s turned out much better!
Hometown classic pizza. They now have gf crust which are pretty good and cook them in a separate tin to avoid contamination from the oven. I am fairly sensitive to cross contamination, although not celiac, and I did not have any issues.
Great! Monical's has some of the best GF pizza ever. This one in particular was so good and I had no worries about cross contamination or anything. Also Monical's has GF ravioli. I didn't get it this time but I'll have to try it some time. oh..they got that good ice too.....
I think the pizza is pricey but it's good! And GF shouldn't be an excuse to serve bland food which other restaurants do. I'm a fan of their GF pizza and would choose this over the chain competitors.
Best gluten-free pizza in the area, hands down. I have told numerous people about the pizza.
GF pizza comes in a dedicated pan from their HQ. Toppings for GF pizza are separate, along with all utensils used. Crust is okay. Typical rice flour flavor. Advantage, if you are traveling through IL, you can count on finding a location.
The gluten free pizza was okay but only about the same as Domino's in my opinion. Our server didn't even know where to find the gluten free pizza on the menu and seemed clueless as to what gluten even is, asking me if the cheddar cheese in the salad will be okay. We had leftover $7 basic iceberg salad and I asked if I could have a little sauce cup to take some dressing with it. She said, "we can't give those away for free." Excuse me? I'm not asking for free salad dressing, I'm paying for the salad. If we ever return to Springfield we definitely won't bother with this place.
