**update** I did get sick from eating here. I am extremely sensitive.
They have three gf appetizers labeled on the menu. When asked about it my waitress didn’t know. She quickly asked. They’ll tell you which meats and veggies you can have. No dedicated ‘labeled’ meals. I had the honey glazed salmon, green beans, and sweet potato. When they offer salt and pepper at the table take it. The food I had was under-seasoned. My stomach felt a little off, but so far no issues so far. My family enjoyed their meals (not gf).

We will definitely be back. We at at this restaurant about a year ago while traveling. The food was delicious! The wait staff is knowledgeable about GF and if they aren't sure they have no problems going and asking the chef or management. I felt very safe eating here and I did not get sick! When ever we travel back with to Elizabeth City we will be back.
GF menu with quite a few options. Scallop risotto was very good, and the chef confirmed the pepper parmesan salad dressing was GF as well.

What a great find and an amazing dining experience! Full, extensive gluten free menu. I had the shrimp grits - oh wow - mouth watering! The food is a cut above and quality; but the prices were reasonable. Now, the waitress wasn’t sure of some gluten free information but was great about finding out. I felt that Montero’s understood gf and celiacs and was intentional, so I felt comfortable eating. The food was superb and I had zero issues - I am celiac

Large gluten free menu. I had an amazing piece of salmon with a maple nut glaze and a veggie napoleon for an appetizer. Everything was delicious and the waiter was very knowledgeable. He even suggested the creme brûlée for a gfree dessert.
