We love Moonlight, it’s a lovely establishment owned by great people. It’s truly a fun place with good food. Unfortunately my Son and I have gotten extremely sick the two times we have tried to eat their GF pizza. I can tell the crust is GF so we are assuming cross-contamination is the issue. We just get salad when we go now.

Tried this place tonight and we were very pleased with the gf crust, and the entire pizza! We will go back for sure. They do not have a gf menu, but the server was knowledgeable about the menu items.

This place is not celiac-safe. I am diagnosed with celiac and I ordered one of their pizzas, but got sick right after. The staff was not knowledgeable about the ingredients on the pizza. I had to ask about specific ingredients on the pizza and the server had to go to the kitchen to get that specific information. Glad I did because I almost ordered a pizza that had chicken which contained gluten, which would have made me considerably sicker

Staff here was very friendly and helpful, but the only really celiac-safe food was salads, which they had 3 options for. They can also modify the sandwiches to be on a salad instead of bread. And there’s a gluten-free pizza crust but it was recommended to avoid if celiac or severe allergy is an issue, the staff seemed to think contamination was likely with that. They said there’s no guarantee they can avoid cross contamination in anything, but they are careful to avoid it. GF items or options were not indicated on menu when I was there. I opted for salad, didn’t feel sick after, but I wouldn’t go back again for a standard salad!
Pretty standard salad! I’m not a huge fan of soy and canola oils in dressings, you do need to request the croutons be excluded, greens/veggies aren’t organic or local or anything like that, and the size of the salad is average.
Nice patio seating, short wait times in my experience.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had since discovering my gluten allergy. Highly recommend

The GF pizza was good. The server warned me that there’s flour everywhere but said they would do everything they can and described the process and it sounded okay. I am very sick now but I’m on vacation so I can’t say for sure if it was them or one of the many other things I’ve eaten. It’s super loud and chaotic in the restaurant.
Sweet, safe and delicious option for those visiting Salida, or the wonderful locals looking for GF options. GF crust was typical, but ingredients and toppings are definitely not. I recommend The Greek paired with a pint of root beer!
