I feel confident eating gf at Moonlit. When ordering online, you can clearly order a gluten free bun and select “Celiac” in a drop down menu. My meal was packaged in a separate bag and marked “GF” and “Celiac”. Thank you Moonlit!!
This is not our first time here. Yummy food, employees seem to be knowledgeable about gluten free. I am very sensitive to cross contamination but had zero issues here. It’s a must try.
Such a good experience here! They have a dedicated fryer for fries and when you ask for a gf bun for a burger, they know what to take off to make it fully gf. Food was incredible and service was so fast! Highly recommend

Dedicated fryer for fries, automatically omit unsafe moonsauce when said I needed gluten free, order marked with a gluten allergy! It was delicious! Food came quick and everybody was helpful and friendly. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!
Stopped by while attending the Dormont Street and Music festival and it was great all around. Even with being busy with the large crowd, service was awesome and the GF food was amazing. Went with the Bacon and Cheese burger with basket of fries with cheese sauce. Highly recommend!
Cannot recommend Moonlit enough! They are very accommodating and have GF buns, as well as a dedicated fryer for fries. I’ve eaten here countless times and have never gotten sick.
Celiac daughter- super excited about this place!!! They immediately knew what celiac meant- dedicated gf fryer… we didn’t have to say change gloves or separate anything…. Food was amazing. DEF WILL RETURN!
Had an awesome time here. Dedicated gluten free fryer, gluten free bun and I asked if they had a dedicated gluten free milkshake machine and they said yes! I’m super happy with this restaurant and will be coming back plenty more times!

These are my absolute FAVORITE burgers!!! So SO yummy! When you sub out for a gluten-free bun they automatically remove the (unsafe) moon sauce as well. Pro Tip: I like to order an extra burger to go… they reheat nicely in a toaster oven!

I've been here a handful of times and have not gotten sick. Gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer for fries. Hard seltzer for a beverage option. The gf burger does not come with their sauce, so I add bacon to give it more flavor. Love coming here and it's become a regular visit for me.
We went to Pittsburgh for a Pens game and had to try this place. Delicious!!!! My daughter who has Celiac got the bacon cheeseburger on a gluten free bun and a basket of fries. She loved it all. This was the first time traveling since she was diagnosed and this place was amazing.
Delicious bacon double cheeseburger on a GF bun. Cashier said that the own has celiac so there is no worries on preparation because staff were all trained. My order was brought out separate from my family and they thoughtful about cross contamination. The fries…OMG there were a ton of them and they were so good. No ill effects so I would go back there again.
My daughter got a kid's burger on a gluten free bun, and it was delicious. The fries are cooked in their own fryer. The service was great and the staff was ready to answer any of my daughter's questions about making her meal gluten free.
They are great with a gluten allergy and are very careful. All fries are gluten free. They have a gluten free bun as well. I always feel safe eating there!

Best burger joint in Pittsburgh. They take the proper precautions for gluten allergies. Bun is fire and the fries are always good. You're missing out if you don't try this place!
This place is extremely Celiac friendly. They clearly mark orders with celiac, take precautions against cross contamination, and offer a gluten free bun supplied by Gluten Free Goat Bakery. The fries are made in a dedicated fryer. The burgers and fries are amazing!
