I ate here on November 30. I had a cheese enchilada, beef taco, and rice. Our server was knowledgeable about making sure everything was gluten free. There were many gluten free options available! I did not have a gluten reaction from the food! I'm always nervous about cross contamination, but everything seemed okay. The prices were very reasonable.
Not safe. Cross contamination is a very real possibility. If you’re gluten sensitive/intolerant may or may not be fine. Server not knowledgeable, not super helpful. Gave basic info such as they have a shared fryer. No additional information provided about sauces or ingredients, just that “yes, all items marked on the menu are gluten free.” Didn’t feel comfortable eating here, however reluctantly did and ordered enchiladas.
*** update: got sick
Felt like I was “discriminated” against because of my Celiacs. I was displeased with the way my food looked (raw onions were see through, meat was dry and my limes looked days old) and the waiter asked me “What did you expect?”… Well for starters to have edible food like everyone else. Will not be returning.
The food and service is really good. The menu is clearly marked what is gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer. Some additional entrees can be made gluten free just ask the waitress and she will let you know what they can do. My husband and I will be returning to this little restaurant when we are in the area.
The salsa and chips and taco shells were cheap stuff you get from the market. My taco shells were wet and the bottoms fell through on my taco on the first bite. The beans and rice was cold. The beans tasted like they were right out of the can. The food was all very bland. I definitely do not recommend eating here.
I have Celiac Disease and had the combination containing the hard shell beef taco, beef enchilada and beef burrito (in a gf tortilla according to the waiter) tonight. This was my first time at this restaurant and I made sure to specify gluten free and ask plenty of questions. Unfortunately, I still got glutened. They seemed really nice so I'm hoping it was a one time accident.
I was glutened here, badly. I ordered the fish tacos off the gluten free menu. However, I did not specify I was celiac..Maybe if I had it would have been different. Beware.
Just the best! Good variety and they make customer changes. Love the fish tacos and their own sauces.
Great Mexican food and wonderful people! Family owned business, very knowledgeable about GF. Lots of options on the menu. Try anything with the GF green chili. The F7 combo is my favorite.
