I informed the staff about my daughter’s celiac and need to not have cross contamination so they got a fresh scooperZ. They were just about to scoop when I noticed I could see the cookie crumbs from the adjacent “cookie monster” ice cream in the flavor she wanted…so I pointed it out. The gentleman offered to go in the back and scoop from a new tub so my daughter ended up with a great treat and had no symptoms develop….but wow have to keep an eye on it!!
I had a great experience it does have a long wait time, but I called before to make sure they offered gluten free options, which they said yes. I got a chocolate milkshake no reaction 24 hours later. They just use whole milk and no thickener that contains gluten .
Best avoided! I wanted to get ice cream, but sign up that all ice creams contain allergens AND I saw at least 2 staff members using the same scoop for various ice creams!! Cross contamination nightmare!! Needless to say, no dessert for me tonight :(

We went in and asked if any of their flavors were gluten free. The girl said they make their own ice cream and it is made off site, so she wasn’t sure what was gf. I asked her if she could ask her supervisor who gave us the familiar answer of , “anything other than the flavors with brownies or cookies or something like that should be gluten free.” Needless to say I did not order as I did not feel it was safe for a celiac.
My non celiac family said the ice cream was very good but in my opinion they were not knowledgeable and I did not have confidence in this place.
We went twice and one of the team was well informed on which flavors were GF. They even checked on the caramel topping and found it was not GF. Great experience and wonderful ice cream. The suggested combinations are awesome.
Fun old school sundae and ice cream spot. A lot of gluten happening here. Watch out for the hot fudge which has gluten according to the semi-verbal teenagers working the parlor. Stick to the simple scoops. They did sterilize the scooper which was good.
