The burger’s we’re alright but nothing special. The fry’s aren’t gluten-free even though they are listed as because they are using a shared fryer with non- gluten-free items

We ordered burgers and fries for our kids, who have Celiac Disease. At the counter, we were told that the sweet potato fries are cooked in the same fryer at the nuggets, so they would not be safe. She said that the regular fries are in a dedicated fryer, so they would be safe. When our order came up, the cook asked if we had an allergy. I said yes, and he told me they he could not guarantee that the regular fries were safe. He said something about the filter for the fryers being the same. So, my kids only ate their burgers. They were pretty good, but they were bummed about the fries.

Although the shakes are tasty, dairy does a number on me. They're not technically a gluten-free facility. They do have GF buns (eh) but even the sweet potato fries are made in the same fryer as the French fries (coated with flour spice) so it's pretty much meat and lettuce if you want to eat there.

Fantastic!! as soon as the cook heard "gluten free" he immediately changed gloves. They double checked sauce ingredients and were sure to inform me what sauces I could and couldn't have. They were very attentive to my order. The burger was fantastic and the fries are hand cut seasoned with salt and pepper. Wonderful experience!!! Will definitely go back.

I ordered DoorDash and I ordered the burger wrapped in lettuce but instead I got a regular bun. This is the first time this has happened and I am very annoyed. Btw I don’t have celiac I have a gluten intolerance. But I was still very annoyed especially since I paid a good price for it

Newly diagnosed with celiac disease (3-4 months). I was in Abilene for a quick day trip and looking for a place to eat. Usually Five Guys is my go-to if I don’t have a packed lunch. Abilene doesn’t have one. I saw online that they had a gluten free bun on the menu. Prior to going I called and asked to speak with a manager to ask about gluten free options. She was very knowledgeable and had all of the answers. She informed me that their beef and buns were cooked on separate grills. She also said they wrap the gluten free buns in foil before warming them on the grill, so that are not cross contaminated. She also informed me that they do not have a separate fryer so that their fried WOULD have cross contamination with the other items that they deep fry, so I should not order them.

Overall the beef was good and the gluten free bun was not bad! Much better than some I have tried.

I would recommend this place as long as you let them know about your condition.

Had just a bacon cheeseburger with no bun because I didn’t want to pay extra for a GF roll. The thin bad tasting burger was covered in rock hard overdone bacon. I was upset that I didn’t just go to Jersey Mike’s across the parking lot. It definitely wasn’t worth the inflated pricing.

Best burger I’ve had in a long time. The bun was delicious and didn’t fall apart. The staff was very good. Two hamburgers, two drinks, and one fry cost $35.00 which included $2.80 for the bun. I did not feel sick at all.

I ordered fries and a gluten-free burger. The restaurant assured me they had a dedicated fryer for gluten-free items. However, when my food arrived, they placed my fries on the same tray as someone else's order, which included a regular bun with gluten.

I noticed the mistake right away because of the bun and questioned it. Despite this, they simply moved the fries to my tray, even though they had come into contact with the gluten bun. I explained the risk of cross-contamination and that I couldn't eat the fries.

Unfortunately, I still got sick from the burger, which suggests a disregard for proper food safety protocols. In the end, I paid for fries I couldn't eat and got sick from the meal anyway.
