3-9-2025 we keep coming back because it is one of the few places I can go and not get sick. I love their flavored coffee and everything I have eaten. I always make sure to tell the server I have a severe gluten allergy. The manager comes over and explains they try their best but can not guarantee it will be gluten free. Their best is okay with me so far.
Today is our 3rd trip back since May. The pancakes are amazing but today tried the French toast. A new treat.
Had to be in Encino in May 2023 and stopped here because it came up on the app. I have lived in the area forever and forgot about this place. Well I didn't know they had gluten free.
Food was… Fine. They have some gluten-free options and supposedly cook them separately. But my server has celiac and said she would never eat here based on what she sees in the kitchen.
As of now I’m not sick, but $90 for two people to get a very basic breakfast is ridiculous for mediocre food. Go to Hugo’s for a better brunch!
Delicious French toast, but sadly no actual gluten free waffles.

I love this place! They have gluten free pancakes and French toast as well as various potato dish options! I have tried all three and they are so yummy. I, being a potato lover, recommend the Mediterranean potato plate!
We just ate there for breakfast, staffs were friendly. staffs seems to be aware, my daughter has celiac. Thank you for letting my daughter try gluten free pancake. she loves the gluten free french toast. staffs made us felt very welcoming especially when we were evacuated from our home due to sand fire. We will be sure to come back! thank you!
talked to the manager and they put our celiac order on a separate check to ensure that it was specially handled. they had a great gluten free menu and prepared everything in a separate area with clean hands, gloves, utensils, etc. Great job! we will definitely be back!
They have GF buckwheat pancakes and can do French toast GF. They do NOT have GF waffles :S Waiting on my GF Eggs Florentine Benedict. Will update.
GF eggs Florentine were fabulous! They put gf toast under them in lieu of English muffins. Will definitely be back. But still on the search for GF waffles in the SF Valley!
Just went for breakfast today. I got the pancakes and they tasted really good. Definitely will be heading back. It is a very busy place!
Great GF menu including waffles and French toast. GF bread available for substitution wherever needed.
