Pizza was good, but there was definitely cross contamination somewhere. It is not celiac friendly.
They brought me a pizza with completely different ingredients than what I ordered. I wanted vegetarian and there were pieces of sausage inside. The pizza was not good at all. I've eaten in another location and pizza there was very good.
There is a specific gf menu which is always nice. Their pizza is amazing, I prefer it over Lou Malnatis, which was previously my favorite. The meals ie: chicken and pasta ate a nice option, but I prefer their Hoffman Estates location for their food.
Pizza tastes great.
The food is tasty, their pizza is good, flavorful, and doesn't taste like cardboard. Staff is a bit flaky but a manager delivered my food so I felt a bit better.
GF pizza is good! The Italian cobb salad was also tasty.
Gf pizza is yummy!
I came here for a family event. I was excited to see they have a gluten free menu and the person I initially spoke on the phone with was knowledgeable about Celiac Disease. When I came to the restaurant, the staff seemed confused or uncaring. The penne pasta dish I ordered was very small and they acted strange when I requested a simple, plain salad. I don't believe anything was contaminated, but I also wouldn't recommend it to another Celiac.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I informed the waitress that I'm celiac and need a gluten free pizza. Asked her to please inform the chef and to change gloves' surfaces and things like that. Woke up at 2am in extreme pain, was horrible! I love the other locations, never had this issue, but will never be coming here again.
I have Celiac disease and Moretti's was my favorite go to when I visited friends in the neighborhood. A bunch of us would go there because it's one of the only places nearby that had been safe for me. We ordered dinner on Sunday, and I got the gluten free Tuscan Beef Tenderloin. We stressed the importance of it being gluten free that I have Celiac disease etc. Well now I've been sick for three days straight, and it'll be another month until I'm fully recovered. Seriously, wtf! Don't advertise that you have gluten free dishes over seen by a doctor (it says so on the menu) if you can't keep a basic meal safe from cross contamination. It's time to retrain your staff or take the gluten free items off your menu. Great job losing 4 very regular customers.
Great gluten free options. They use SmartFlour GF pizza crusts which are awesome. However, be cautious about checking your order when getting delivery. Have on occasion ordered something GF and received it's gluten filled option instead. I.E. Ordered a Caesar salad off the gluten free menu and received one with croutons.
Ordered a GF Caesar salad was sent with croutons. They used to be good at being cautious, even my receipt shows I ordered GF salad...not what I got!!! Then I have to wait for my $13 credit from delivery for next visit, like I trust them now not to get me sick! The confidence I had in them has left the building!
NO STARS, just talked to Mgr at Edison Park location, I told her I had celiac not just on a fad diet, I asked if it was safe for me, she then told me some things on the menu. I said, no I need to know if it's SAFE for me to eat there, say, is your gf pizza cooked in a separate oven, she didn't know, I said can you ASK??? She came back on the phone and said, "NO". They are all cooked in the same oven. WOW, crazy, can't believe they can say they are GLUTEN FREE, very very scary for people like us~ and it's terrible too that they claim they are GF, and the mgr didn't even KNOW the answer to my questions!
I have been here twice first time, I got sick, 2nd time, I informed manager, I had gotten sick. Be sure to tell them to cook your pasta separate. The pasta was ok, the Italian sausage was over done, and very spicy. It's not the same sausage that was in my husband's pizza. I have not tried the gf pizza.
