I called to order take out and asked the man who answered about GF options. He said they can make almost anything GF as long as it wasn’t deep fried. He seemed knowledgeable about the issues with GF. He said they have GF soy sauce available to use as necessary. We picked it up and there was a note on the receipt next to GF item and the entree had gluten free written on container. The only disappointment was that my daughter ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was basically moo goo gai pan with some GF soy sauce on it. It wasn’t really teriyaki chicken. But it was good and she felt fine the next day so we will go back.
One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to regarding gluten free food. (And in general). The Chef is very knowledgeable, and if you ask, the waiter will tell you which dishes can or can't be made gf and why. Delicious food, and right next to a Chinese/Asian food market!
They are knowledgeable about gluten, and can make most dishes gluten free. If you order online, there’s even an option to select gluten free. It was really good!
I went to Mr. Chen's after a fellow celiac recommended it. I wish I had gone sooner! There is no gluten-free menu, but almost anything can be made gluten-free. They will let you know if not. I had no issues after eating there, and I cannot wait to go back! And the food is super yummy too!!
