Review of Mr. Dewie’s Cashew Creamery

Beware if you're a sensitive celiac like me! I love the taste of this ice cream and that is all GF and dairy free, but didn't feel well after getting it from the shop. Went back and asked, and realized there's no protocol to prevent cross contamination from gluten cones into the ice cream. Unlike other places I've been to, they don't offer to scoop from a fresh uncontaminated container in the back. The best they can do is wash the scoop. Fyi, pints are also packed in house from the same supply and potentially cross contaminated too. Such a bummer! Could have been a Celiac's dream come true. At least they sell pints at the grocery store.
