Stopped by for lunch during a layover at JFK. Pizza was fantastic, GF crust was great! The menu is fairly extensive with gluten free options. Mozzarella sticks are a must. The owner was solid and attentive, seemed to interact well with all his customers that came through.

Bad cross contamination, I watched pizza guy mix flour into cheese(which is common) then make a gluten free pizza. Tastes great but not worth the risk for celiac.

The pizza was excellent!! I got a personal Margarita. However, be sure to ask for the price up front since it was wrong in the menu.

Definitely one of my favorite places on Long Island to get pizza. You can get a whole pie with big slices like a normal person... instead of always getting personal sized. I've only tried their pizza and mozzarella sticks... but seriously that's all I need. All so good!

I've eaten here a number of times. I'm very sensitive celiac. I did get sick one time when I ordered fried food but never had a problem with the pizza, which is awesome.

I had seen good reviews on here and figured I'd give it a shot! Girl behind the counter double checked with Mr. Miceli to make sure what I asked for didn't contain gluten (big plus that she made sure of something she wasn't knowledgeable on! He came out, introduced himself and explained he was gluten free himself, he was so sweet! I got a vodka sauce pizza with mozzarella and it was amazing! He explained that he made the crust himself and it was not store bought. He even offered to deliver to my town which is not in his delivery area, for a small fee, which is great! I will be coming back and look forward to trying the dinner foods! Thank you for making my experience a great one!

My daughter has Celiac and said that the pizza was delicious! The crust was so crunchy. She hasn't had a garlic knot in 6 years, and said they were yummy but needed more garlic. We'll definitely be coming here again.

By far the best authentic gluten free Italian restaurant I have ever been too. The owner (from Italy) is very knowledgeable. He himself has a gluten allergy. The variety of gluten free choices is amazing. The whole time I ate there he came out to show me how he was preparing all the gluten free food I ordered from scratch. He has a separate fryer for gluten free foods. Cross contamination is nonexistent in his restaurant. I will definitely be back.

To give this place 5 stars is an injustice, it far exceeded any of our expectations. The food was AMAZING, and the owner himself is gluten free. I have celiacs and I am HIGHLY sensitive. The selection is extensive and the taste and quality are in a league of their own. EAT HERE!

Found Mr. Miceli Pizzeria today by accident. What a great place. Luca & his staff were great at explaining their menu, which is very extensive. Service was tremendous and the portions were generous. Luca makes the pizza dough himself-no frozen crust! We will definitely be back.

Love Mr. Miceli...he has Celiac so he takes his gluten free customers very seriously and truly cares about the quality of his GF items. There are tons of GF options on the menu and they're all fantastic. He recently added GF buckwheat pizza and it's AMAZING. Costs about a dollar more than the regular GF pizza and is totally worth it. My other favorite is the GF garlic knot. Compared to all other GF pizza in RVC and surrounding towns, Mr. Miceli is the best. I live on Long Beach and go out of my way to get it. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's a Mom and Pop shop. If they tell you that your takeout order will be ready in 30 minutes, it might actually be 40 minutes. Prices have slightly fluctuated in the past but that hasn't happened for me recently. Love the food, love the staff!

What a great place! Everything is homemade with almost the full menu having gluten-free options. The owner suffers from a wheat/allergy and cares very much about the food he serves. We had gluten-free pizza (homemade dough) and a couple pasta dishes all terrific. Even the non-celiac people in our group who ordered "regular" items, enjoyed there dishes as well, having the calzone and baked ziti. We look forward to going back soon.

We were visiting from NM, and were pleasantly surprised to find so many gluten free options here. The restaurant is kid-friendly; our young son's pizza was cut into small pieces for him, and was heated enough but not too much for a child. The menu is surprisingly varied for a pizzeria. The owner was attentive - he has to eat gluten free himself, so he knows just what others have to deal with. My wife thought the gluten free mozzarella cheese sticks and pizza were both tasty. We would come back here in the future.

This was the best GF pizza I've ever had. Owner is GF too. He was so nice, funny, and was careful to avoid cross contamination. GF dough is made on the premises (not frozen) and shaped into personal or large pies in dedicated deep-dish pans. Sauce is delicious. I just wish I lived closer to this place - I'd be there all the time!

Prices are quite affordable and he's probably the nicest guy ever. My first ever visit there he made me a gluten free garlic knot which wasn't even in the menu! Pizza is delicious, mozzarella sticks are how they should be-although they could definitely use some seasoning. Delicious and reasonably priced. Among my favorite places for Italian food now!
