After seeing this restaurant on this app, we decided to give it a try. I called to check on the gluten free menu. The hostess sent me the gluten free menu and assured me of its safety. When we arrived, we mentioned that two of us had celiac disease and that we needed to avoid cross contamination. We ordered nachos as an appetizer. When they were served, they looked fried and when we asked (after already asking before ordering) we were told that yes they were fried in a shared fryer. For dinner, we ordered the shrimp poke bowl and the shrimp tacos which were both on the gluten free menu. I asked if the tacos were gluten free, I was told they were soft corn tortillas. Then when the tacos were served, the shrimp was served on leaves of lettuce. When I asked, I was told that the tortillas contained both wheat and corn so they were in fact not gluten free. So instead of shrimp tacos, I had nine shrimp served on three pieces of lettuce with some coleslaw. It was delicious but very little food for an entree, not even the size of a dinner salad. The poke bowl was served with some sort of crispy bread, so we needed to send it back. There was also some confusion about whether or not the soy sauce was actually gluten free. Overall, not a good experience and not a safe place for celiacs to eat.
