Went to Mesa AZ location. "Chips" Staff told me tortilla chips were GF & cooked in dedicated fryer. Waitress later told me 'no they are not'. Waitress was right as I got sick from 3 chips. Manager came by & gave me the speech they are GF yet cooked in oil with other flour products. If we weren't meeting friends I would have left. GF menu is very small 6 items which are corn tortilla tacos & taco salad. Tacos were fair.
Gluten free menu has only 5 choices. Their chips are NOT gluten free. They use a shared fryer. Staff was unsure if what was gluten free.
Very yummy:) they have their own little gluten free menu, I asked if their nachos were gluten free and they said that the tortilla chips were fried in a seperate fryer. huge portion of nachos!! great place!!
NOT CELIAC friendly at all. I have been sick every time I have tried to eat here.
They have about 5 items on their gluten free menu & their chips are NOT gluten free. The waitress checked with the kitchen & they are fried in the same fryer as items with wheat. I ordered chicken tacos with some veggies, they were good but the only ingredients they put on the tacos was lettuce and pico, it was a little weird they didn’t put cheese on them. They were fairly knowledgeable about gluten free & I didn’t get sick. If you are looking for something with a lot of options I wouldn’t recommend.
Cross contamination across the board. Shared fryer and even the corn tortillas are cooked on the same flat grill as flour ones
They informed us that all the options were not safe at all for celiac and that everything was cross contaminated. Sat down then left
Family member is gluten free, and they have a speciality menu for her. She can eat the chips and get a good plate here, and she is very happy.
