Our first time to this chain was a positive experience! The lack of a GF menu kept us away for a long time, but the high celiac ratings here were encouraging. No cross contamination reaction (whew), and the chicken was flavorful. We especially liked the mango-lime sauce. The peri peri bowl was a great way to get some fresh veggies too.

April 16, 2019. Fantastic GF place to eat. Only crutons, sandwich bread and pita chips have gluten. Easy to eat off the whole menu.

Great food! No issues! Will be going back!

This place is fantastic! So much is GF! Wings, fries, all the sauces! All the chicken is GF and no cross contamination. Only sources of gluten are obvious, like breads, wraps, etc.

They don't advertise it, but their chicken and sauces are gluten free. I got the medium peri-peri with the roasted vegetables in tomato sauce with marinated olives as my starter.

great food
They don't crow about it, but so much of what they serve is gluten-free, mainly because they limit they processing of their food and they don't add breading or other gluten thickeners to their sauces. The chicken is quite tasty, especially if you like spicy food. Four stars because their vegetable selection is somewhat limited, and the side salads don't always look crisp.

Great chicken!
I had the chicken bowl without the hummus and a side of fries. I was told it was all gluten free but they were unsure if the hummus had cross contamination, so I opted for no hummus just to be safe. The fries are the only thing that go in the frier, so no cross contamination there. The food was not bad for a quick, easy meal across from my hotel. I did not get sick.

I dined in and had a positive experience the people were very nice and I watched the person who took my order tell the kitchen to be careful with cross contamination. I did not get sick and felt comfortable eating there! I would always say when eating somewhere that has gluten in the kitchen at all be very clear about the severity and ask them to change gloves etc!

Manager was pretty rude and didn’t want us to eat there even though it was 45min til they closed. Dirty environment too. I did not get sick from gluten but I wouldn’t recommend.

We always stop at Nando’s when we travel south. They have a well marked allergen booklet. We get the chicken livers, spicy olives, brussels sprouts without the sauce, shish kebabs, and half chicken. French fries are in a dedicated fryer. Enjoy!

While the restaurant isn’t dedicated gluten free, the staff are excellent about allergies! As soon as you tell the staff you have celiac/wheat allergy, they are running to the kitchen to ensure your order is prepared with new gloves, in a freshly cleaned area, and without any gluten ingredients. The servers automatically bring the allergen book and work directly with you to ensure you do not order anything that has hidden gluten. My husband and I both have celiac and have never had issues here :)
