We ate here for dinner and lunch. The food and service were quite good and my wife (celiac) had no problems with it. The only downside was the dinner waitress admitted she didn’t know much about gluten. But she worked with the kitchen to make sure things were ok.

I’m only giving it four stars as there are not a lot of gluten-free options.

The staff had no idea what “gluten free” meant. I went to the restaurant specifically because of the positive review on here but when I asked about gluten free options, the server said “that means no bread right?” then suggested several menu items that definitely would have contained gluten (fried shrimp, tuna in soy sauce, etc.). After asking about the dressing ingredients, I ordered the Caesar salad with no croutons and blackened chicken. The first salad was made with croutons. Thankfully the kitchen agreed to remake it but that meant my meal was 15 minutes later than everyone else’s. Given how extremely over cooked the chicken was (dry to the point of basically being jerky on the edges), I assume they reused the chicken from the first salad. The service was pretty awful (for example, the server never took our drink order so we only ever had the three glasses of water a hostess brought over at the beginning of the meal though there were four of us at the table). I know things are more relaxed on the island but life is too short to suffer bad service in order to eat bad food. I’ll never go back.
