Very friendly and helpful service. Explained the restaurant does not a dedicated fryer - so some of the items marked as gluten-free are not celiac safe. However, there were options on the menu that could be made gluten-free with a high degree of confidence there would not be cross contamination.

One of my favorite places! Staff very friendly, everything is labeled. Fries are cooked in a shared fryer. Baja Tacos are amazing. Eat here all the time with no reaction.
I love this place. They are very accommodating to food intolerances for the most part. I told the guy at the counter that I had to be dairy, soy and gluten free. Everything is dairy free anyway, so it was just the soy and gluten. He told me how I can make it gluten free. He then asked if I wanted sweet potato fries. I said yes and assumed they were safe. My aunt saw later on that it didn't say next to the fries GF, so I asked the guy if they were completely gluten free and he said they were cooked in the same oil that flour is in. I didn't eat that many and when I found out, I immediately stopped eating them. The guy said nobody has complained. Well here is my complaint. I have had a very bad stomach ache all day and haven't been able to eat much. Please don't be ignorant about cross reactive foods.

Love this place!

Amazing begin restaurant which has a plethora of gluten-free items.
Yes
Some gluten free options are marked but they don't have a gluten free fryer so many things that are marked gf are not actually safe.

NOT Celiac safe, all food cooked on shared equipment with shared utensils.
This used to be an amazing place with friendly staff to eat a safe meal. Now not only are there less GF options, but it seems there are no longer any extra precautions taken to ensure the meal is safe for Celiac when requested. The quality of service in general has also deteriorated greatly in the past 5 years or so. I’m sad that this place we used to love is no longer recognizable.

A bunch of things on the menu (fries, etc) are listed as gluten free but are made on the same fryer as gluten items. Make sure to double check if your food is actually gluten free!
Amazing food! I've never tried to eat vegan but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this all was. Seriously tasty and really filling. I spoke to the woman at the counter and she said they would change gloves, utensils, and work surfaces when preparing my food; I have celiac and am very sensitive but I didn't have a reaction to anything. However, some of their gluten free menu items are fried in a non-dedicated GF frier so be careful when ordering!
UPDATE: I tried eating here again on my last trip and I was very sick. I wouldn’t risk it when there are so many other gluten free options in the city.
