I had some hope of GF fare because they specifically mention it in their video advert on their website. I was entirely disappointed. No GF menu. The waiter told us we could just choose something from the normal menu. Nothing was marked on their standard menu. The waitress did not want to help, and brushed us off, told us “you can eat eggs, can’t you?” and when I asked about whether a particular dish was safe she rolled her eyes and said she supposed she could ask the chef. The manager came over to help. I asked what brunch items could be done GF. His answer: “Salad”. I asked about their advert and he said that maybe they should change it. GF bread? No. Pancakes or waffles? No. Fries? Yes… until I asked whether breaded items were also fried in the same oil. He seemed genuinely surprised that cross-contamination mattered. We left.
