Absolutely wonderful! The place is a dedicated facility, so there is no worry about cross contamination. We went twice, evening and morning, and got some delicious stuff. They had “take and bake” cinnamon rolls we took home. -it’s better to go early as they can run out quick -plenty of desserts and food Overall lovely and great place to stop by.

One of the best places on the West Coast I’ve been to so far. Hands down the best hot sandwich I’ve had since my celiac diagnosis. Great staff too.

Dedicated GF. Enjoyed a breakfast sconewich with cheddar scone, egg, turkey sausage, spinach and extra grilled cheese. You pick your scone and fillings. Even my gluten eating husband liked his. Wish it wasn’t 2 hours from home!

Best GF and DF options for Brownies, Muffins, and other sweets! It’s hard fining places that offer both GF and DF sweets. I always stop here when I’m up in Monterey for work and stock up on my muffins and brownies!!

We stopped in for breakfast and some treats. The breakfast biscuit sandwich was excellent, the bagels was really good and our muffins were big & delicious! Very impressed! Nice to have a safe option when traveling through. So good!!

We have been traveling the north west Pacific Coast this summer for several months and have been visiting many gluten-free places for breakfast along the way. This is by far my favorite bakery anywhere! The cinnamon rolls are amazing. The breakfast panini was awesome. The bread is delicious! And the people are very nice.

I wish I realized earlier this wasn’t the same place that used to be there (that place was no good). Wow! Great tasting baked goods. We tried the cinnamon roll, coffee cake, brownie, pretzel, Parmesan twist and a loaf of bread. All the items were VERY good. Do not miss out on this place. We will try the breakfast sandwiches and lunch soon. Delicious. We went back for lunch today. The sandwiches are delicious. I wish they had more options, but we were all satisfied.

100 % gluten free. However, when we arrived at 13:30 they only had enough bread left to make 2 sandwiches, and we were 4 people. Bland tasting fillings, good bread though. Nothing really special. Expensive, small portion. Moody/unpleasant young guy serving at counter. Cheerful snd friendly lady working in kitchen though. No restrooms. Extremely sensitive, did not get sick though.

Tried this place yesterday after reading good reviews here and I am so glad that we did! I had a sandwich which was delicious and carefully crafted to perfection. Turkey on Italian herb and cheese bread with all the fixings was amazing! Best sandwich I’ve had since going gf. Best bread I’ve ever had. I’ll be dreaming of this sandwich now and can’t wait to come back! This is our new go to spot in Monterey. They also have a super impressive bakery selection with tons of goodies. We settled on one of each cookie and a brownie but regret not trying more! Everything we tried was just wonderful.

Everything in the store is gluten free! They also had gluten and dairy free muffins, brownies, cupcakes, and scones (also vegan). Everything I got was absolutely amazing! I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again.

Good lord, this was heaven to an out of town traveler. Had an absolutely delicious panini that was HUGE, a chai latte, and bought up a bunch of the ham and cheese wheel/chocolate chip muffin/pretzel for my trip. The sandwich bread doesn’t crumble and had a delightful cheese crust on top. The pretzel was especially good with soft dough and even a little nacho cheese on the side! Wish this was closer to home so I could go over and over again.

As a celiac who has not ate out in 2 years since being diagnosed, Nece’s Gluten Free Bakery was the perfect stepping stone to explore gluten free eatery since their bakery is 100% dedicated gluten free establishment!! I tried the Nece’s pastrami panini pressed sandwich with all the fixings and it was one of the best gluten free sandwiches I have ever had in my 2 years of being a celiac and I paired it with a delicious iced almond milk chai! I also got a lemon poppyseed muffin and a mini cake to go since it was my birthday! Both to die for! Nece’s staff was amazing and answered all my questions that I had about their items! I would recommend this place to anyone who has celiac disease and I will definitely be coming back to this place as a safe spot for me to enjoy a celiac safe lunch and sweet treats on the go! Thank You Nece’s Gluten Free!!
