I ordered the healthy omelette which hadegg whites, chicken and veggies, and fruit instead of potatoes. Well… they said I couldn’t have chicken or egg whites if I wanted it gluten free (maybe they though I meant vegan?) and then asked if I wanted toast. What came was a plain egg white omelette with no chicken, veggies, or fruit cup. But they did give me home fries. 🙃

I have no prior experience to compare to. I was at Bear Mountain NY and their continental breakfast was definitely out. Found this place on the app. I had gf buttermilk pancakes, side of bacon & coffee. The waiter understood my request to tell the cook "needs to be gluten free. please use all fresh utensils." I'm not celiac, but if the pancakes weren't gf, I would have had a BIG problem on our 2 & 1/2 ride back to South Jersey. No problems at all. Plus the restaurant and rest rooms were clean. Service was good.

Went classically “down hill” with a sudden deep slide into the abyss. When it first opened the food was perfect. Complacency eventually set into its normal place and the owner seems to not care.

I went due to all the great gluten free reviews, but when I asked staff about gluten free items they said they only had pasta, but none of their meats or sauces could be gluten free so my only option was pasta. The waitress we had was unaware that pancakes and waffles were offered as gluten free on menu. I was too scared to order gluten free fearing items were cooked with same griddles and pots as regular items. Not a good gf staff.

The staff has no idea what gluten free items are on the menu. And I highly doubt that the kitchen understands what it means to cook food gluten free.

First - an ADORABLE retro, but upgraded, diner!!! VERY clean, SPOTLESS bathrooms, awesome decor! Very friendly service. NOW to the food...GREAT GF breakfast options! They have GF pancakes, waffles, and french toast! When our pancakes and french toast arrived, we were actually worried it wasn't GF because it looked TOO good. No worries...once we tasted it, we could tell if was GF - GOOD and quite a treat for a diner, but just a teeny bit dry. We didn't care though...that's what syrup is for! On that note, REAL maple syrup was available for a small additional charge. :-) You can get any breakfast adapted to make it GF. Fantastic!

Excellent GF pancake breakfast. Can't wait to try the French Toast.
