New Berlin Fish House & Oyster Bar

It has happened too many times, so I finally decided to leave a warning. Even though their menu says the dish is gluten free, they often put hush puppies into the dish, immediately making it not safe for those who are allergic to gluten. Even when they remade the dish I had a reaction, which tells me their kitchen cleanliness and protocols are the problem. I won’t go back. This has happened twice.

No separate gluten free menu, and had to go off my own knowledge of what I can eat. Great seafood, but overall not gluten-free friendly. I did not feel sick though, I had salmon and veggies.

No separate GF menu but staff very knowledgeable of GF items. My son had the grilled fish/shrimp, mashed potatoes, and green beans! He loved it and no reactions.
