This place has a nice selection of GF items on the grocery shelves, including ice cream. I tried talking to the deli on several occasions (we live in Tahoe), but have always been told they have flour everywhere so not safe for celiac. One time, the man working deli turned to point out flour dust on surfaces. I would only feel celiac safe buying the boxed grocery gf items, not the deli's prepared dishes. They do have a lot of great to-go deli salads marked "gluten free" but they are prepared in the kitchen there. Be cautious about CC there.
Nice GF beer selection
TONS of GF foods. Like a mini Whole Foods.
Got a gluten free sandwich from them and told them i was celiac. The woman was extremely knowledgable and offered to toast the gf bread in a separate pan. They state the risks that they do have wheat in the kitchen but they made the sandwich on a separate cutting board and I felt completely safe and didn't get sick. Just make sure they don't toast your bread on the regular griddle.
Yes
This small market is packed with many of my gluten-free favorites, from packaged foods to body products, and beverages. Prices were consistent with Seattle Natural Markets, staff was friendly and helpful. I was thrilled by this great find and will definitely be back.
