No 7 Balmac

We had dinner here and totally enjoyed it. Really interesting menu; we wanted to order every dish offered. my partner ordered the vegan eggplant dish and I ordered the duck confit as well as a side of grilled asparagus. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. I was impressed that so many dishes were offered gluten-free; the dessert menu was especially challenging to order from because so many were gluten-free 🤣. No. 7 Balmac is highly recommended. The New Zealand restaurant industry is very knowledgeable of the celiac GF diet. I had no problems eating quite well in NZ.

Amazing cafe and restaurant open all day. Suitable for a casual or formal meal. Delicious food. Lots of GF options. Very good knowledge from all staff. Unfortunately no separate fryer which they flagged straight away and suggested good alterations.
