i enjoyed eating here, as everything is GF, but i would keep a few things in mind when thinking of your dining experience: the dining area is tiny, so it’s hard to fit a large group (or larger than a party of 5) within the bakery. since NoGlu’s customer service area space is limited, food service could take a while if busy. i enjoyed my food there and i would reccomend for a slow-paced or takeout dining experience
Quite a few breakfast/lunch options both to take away and eat in. As it’s a dedicated gluten free place it’s super safe and the baguettes were very good It was very experience even compared to many other gluten free shops particularly their coffees (6 euro latte!!)
My avocado toast was not very good but my neighbors liked their dishes.
My cappuccino was not very good.
I liked their comfy seats. The people on staff were nice but overwhelmed.
Super! Maybe husband and I ate lunch there and got some pastries to go. Everything was delicious and we were glad to be eating at a small business and not a big tourist trap restaurant on the main drag. The serves and cashier were very gracious about our limited French (and it seemed like most patrons were not native french speakers).
Very excited to find a plain GF croissant! Very flaky and buttery - just wish I could’ve warmed it up. I also had the quiche Lorraine & my husband got the breakfast sandwich. In my opinion, quiche Lorraine was better but both were tasty and generous portion sizes. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Dairy free things are also marked on the menu.
Tasty gf pastries and nice cosy venue. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Stopped by around 3:30 pm and ordered a ham on baguette. It was almost entirely bread, just a tiny slice of ham and the baguette was so dry I choked on it - this could have been because it was 3:30 pm. Service was honestly really bad, very slow, they brought two waters when we only wanted one but then argued with me about it. ? I was hugely disappointed in this place until I had a pain au chocolat and it was HEAVEN! I would go there again for a pain au chocolat to go but not for a sandwich. I prefer the GF bakery Copains.
Food was exciting and delicious / so many fun things offered and when you don’t get fun gf things very often, it’s exciting. The service was very slow - they apologized as I think my order might have been overlooked. Food was delicious! My favorite was the baguette. Such a treat and so tasty in little strips and toasted!
Everything is gluten free and they even have a lot of dairy free options too!
Everything is gluten free! First time having a croissant in over 5 years!! Very small and pricey… but delicious! I noticed the slices of cake to be 12.5 (ish) euros … Croissant was 2.5 Euros. Small seating area. Case was nearly empty (got there around 4) so recommend going early in the day.
I had the croque monsieur since that was something I haven’t had since diagnosed. Very different with a hearty seeded bread. The cheese on top was burnt rather than melted. My husbands quiche looked much more appealing. The cinnamon roll I took for the next day’s breakfast was excellent. I was disappointed they were out of eclairs. I appreciate the dedicated gluten free kitchen and hope to try again.
Great coffee and pastries. The quiche Lorraine is big, heavy and delicious.
Everything we ordered was delicious. But the breakfast menu is not worth the money (~17€) if you don't take the breakfast sandwich with it, sadly it wasn't available anymore when we were there). The alternative Baguette + Butter + Jam features a toasted baguette and jam + butter for maybe one half of it. So it's very dry and crispy. Three stars because the pain au chocolat (part of the menu) and eclair (extra) was just amazing and all take-out stuff looked very good too.
I would live here if I could — everything they make is beyond delicious. Their sit-down brunch items, their drinks, the mouth-watering pastries with the most perfect of creams…oh how I wish I was eating there again right now. Whether you’re at their Paris or NYC locations, you simply can’t go wrong with anything you order. Do yourself a favor and make this a priority stop!!
Went here for a rather late lunch after the Eiffel Tower, got on the Batobus to get there. Had main and a pudding each. The vegan sandwich was amazing. Croque Moiseur was liked by my eight year old and my older daughter had quiche. Then the donuts for pudding were amazing and the American layer cake. Amazing food, highly recommend. Not cheap though!
Delicious though costly. We had a grilled cheese that my celiac daughter enjoyed. Also got carrot cake, a chocolate croissant, chocolate and vanilla eclairs, cinnamon roll, strawberry shortcake and several macaroons. No complaints on flavor though the bill touched around $100 for all those desserts plus a few drinks.
Im trying to try as many bakeries as possible while I’m here, so Noglu was a must. I tried a coffee eclair which was absolutely delicious! That said, it cost $7.80 USD which is shockingly expensive. I’m glad I tried it, but I found Copain to have more options for better prices.
