Waiter asked about allergies up front. Went through the menu and showed what was able to be changed to gluten free. Then to top it off it was some of the best Thai I’ve ever had!

Got a GF marked appetizer and two of the curry dishes that were also marked GF. One of the best meals we had on Oahu. Sat at the bar and Roni (the bartender) was super personable. Definitely get the Crystal Basil Margarita - very basil-forward and a unique cocktail.

Tons of options. The waiter was knowledgeable. I decided to try the Bangkok Red Curry, it was really tastey (minus the fact that I can't handle any level of spice)! I would definitely go back to try other options. The restaurant was also beautifuly decorated.

Make a lunch from the gf apps! They are awesome. Also beware that “2” is considered medium spicy, which is fine for me, but my companion, who says he likes spicy, started hiccuping and eye-watering it was so spicy for him.
My daughter has celiac. Her tummy swells up like a balloon upon ingesting gluten. She also reacts to minute amounts of corn—like cornstarch and whatnot to thicken sauce etc. I called in advance about the pad thai and curry and was assured no gluten, no corn. Also talked with our waiter who assured us no gluten or corn ingredients would be in her food. She swelled up like a balloon within 30 minutes after eating.

We are headed back for the third time this week, and when my husband is here on business he eats here at least once each time. First, we are celiac with dairy allergy, and have Never have a reaction to the food. Wait staff are knowledgeable and helpful, plenty variety to chose from. They will also validate parking in the Royal Hawaiian lot. Highly recommend

Delicious!! GF items are marked on the menu and many additional items (including the pad thai) can be made gluten free. I had the coconut panang curry with pork and my husband had the pad Thai. Both were so good and I felt safe eating here. If the food isn’t spicy enough, you can ask them to bring out more red pepper to increase the heat! We had the level 3 and 4 spicy, and it wasn’t spicy enough for us (but was way too spicy for my mother). I highly recommend!

Several gluten free options marked on the menu and the staff are very knowledgeable about gluten free. I was able to modify the chicken satay to be gluten free. Very authentic Thai food, some of the best I’ve had outside of Thailand.

Some of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had!! The staff were knowledgeable and confident they could make our food in a separate space in the kitchen. We got takeout so there was no specific plating for our food - regular takeout boxes - but our order was marked gf and no symptoms. Just make sure to indicate you’re celiac/gf when ordering so the staff can ensure they take precautions!

The menu has a ton of gf options and pictures of each dish. I got the lamb massaman curry which comes with rice. It was delicious. The best massaman curry I’ve tried. My partner tried the dishes of five people at the table and said mine was the best. My family said everything was wonderful, the best food we tried on our trip to the island. When I ordered, I asked the server to flag my plate for a “gluten allergy” (which is not exactly accurate but sometimes easier to explain) and when the food came out the food runner stated again my plate was for someone with a gluten allergy. I had no reaction to the meal and am quite sensitive to gluten.

We had a very knowledgeable server. The Menu indicates GF but there are many more options available. Food is made to order and therefore soy sauce is omitted when you indicate must be GF. I ordered drunken noodles with tofu. Tofu is “pre-fried” from the supplier and safe to eat.

I came here with a NIMA and ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. The first two times I came and tested it, it came out smiley :)! After that we just assumed that it would do the same, as they stated that the Pad Thai naturally was gluten free. I don’t even like Thai food all that much (at least I thought…) but their Pad Thai with shrimp was REALLY good! I’d really recommend!

I am a super sensitive celiac, my daughter is also celiac. After reading the last review, I was a little concerned about eating here. I am so happy that we did. The waiter was super knowledgeable. Items were clearly marked, but 95% of the menu could be altered to be made gluten free. The food was exceptionally delicious. I had chicken Pad Thai and my daughter had the crab curry. My husband who is not celiac, loved his regular dishes of tofu curry and vegetable rolls. Everything looked delicious. No problems at all. I would highly recommend.

To say I was happy with the abundance of choice at Noi Thai would be an understatement. Not only is their menu extensive, with something to accommodate everyone, but most of the dishes on their menu are gluten free, so great for coeliac's! My husband and I ordered jasmine rice to accompany my chicken larb and his chicken massaman curry. You get to choose your spice level from 1 to 5, which is great for those with certain taste pallets. Our server was knowledgeable about their menu, coeliac himself so understood the importance of my food requirements, and was overall just so friendly. The food was stunning and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere, while a little on the loud side from other customers, was lovely. Thoroughly recommend!

Ate here twice while on Oahu. Gluten free items are marked on the menu and the staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination. I had the chicken & pineapple appetizer, curry, and pad Thai, all of which were delicious. The only slip up was the waiter brought us a free dessert at the end of the meal, which was NOT gluten free. I luckily asked him to confirm before I ate it, so I did not get sick. I boil this down to a miscommunication and them sending the same free dessert to everyone. Would still return.

Excellent quality of Thai food here. They will make almost any dish gluten free and do not use dairy in any of their dishes. We had the pad thai w/shrimp, red curry w/chicken, chicken satay, pork larb, and pad see ew.

This Thai place is delicious. A little pricy, but that’s Hawaii for you. Naturally gluten free items are marked on the menu, and our server told us that most of the noodle and rice dishes can be made gluten free as well. We got crab fried rice and black noodles, adjusted to make them gf. The fried rice was good, and the noodles were amazing! No reaction to either.

The menu is marked with GF notes and the host told me much of the menu could be altered to be GF. However, my server did not fully understand the substitution concept and so I stuck to ordering one of the naturally GF dishes. Service was great. However, I got sick from eating Bangkok Red Curry with white rice. This was stated on the menu as gluten free and I made sure to ask again when I ordered. I'm not sure is this was just cross contamination or just not a gf meal. Tasted great, but made me very sick.

Located on 3rd level of the mall. I’m celiac and this is maybe the best GF Thai food I’ve ever had. My server didn’t really know much and I could tell right away so I asked her to check with the chef. I had the GF pad thai and it was great. My wife got the pad see ew which was not on the GF menu but we asked if they could do it GF. The server said no but the chef said yes. We shared. Both were excellent, didn’t get sick. Filling portions, no leftovers.

Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to try this place. It was a gross rainy windy night and we wanted to get takeout from somewhere close by! We called and asked if the items marked GF on the menu would be celiac safe and the host assured us that they were. We ordered the massaman curry (delicious), the Bangkok red curry (which was our favorite!), and the fresh rolls, which they made with tofu to make gluten free. Everything was so tasty, and the portions were huge, we have so much leftover. No gluten reaction!

UPDATE 1/2/2021: Sadly, Noi has really gone downhill in overall quality consistency and allergy precautions it seems. The last couple of times I have tried to eat here:
- At least one food item has been forgotten each time
- Menu GF marks are out of date, as they've changed the recipes/suppliers for some items (some items are GF now but the menu says they're not as well, and also vice versa)
- I've had to speak to multiple staff before someone had the knowledge to assist with my special requests (gluten & soy)
- My order has been messed up every time lately beyond items being forgotten - I will ask for no soy, no gluten in detail, and even have begun specifying "no tofu" for the soy piece as I had someone working there tell me tofu didn't contain soy before... yet every time the last several visits, tofu has been fully present in my food. This made me not confident at all that they followed my gluten request if they did not follow the other
- Some staff have no idea about gluten/celiac/allergies it seems now, so you're shooting in the dark hoping you get someone knowledgeable - and even then, those who have seemed knowledgeable have still left me with incorrectly prepped food
- The food has not been as good; less flavor, things being over or undercooked - for somewhere so expensive compared to a lot of other thai places, this is disappointing. Especially when you order take out and you're not getting all their fancy over the top bells and whistles
I used to love Noi and use it for any special occasion, but sadly it is just not reliable anymore in many ways. I will be sticking to Pinto Thai in Cap Hill for now I suppose, as they have never messed up my orders and always are helpful.
----
I eat here a lot. Expensive and very extra presentation wise but good food and I’ve never reacted even though I’m very sensitive. I get pad Thai with chicken and Thai iced coffee. Note, they said they don’t know if any of their cocktails can be made GF.
