Noodles and Company

A few years ago, we didn’t feel they were diligent with cross contamination. However, they’ve come a long way with GF recently. My son, a celiac, has started going there again. He really enjoys the Mac & Cheese and many other items on the menu.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Do not recommend if you have celiac/are highly sensitive. I used to work here..trust me when I say there is nothing but cross contamination and the employees have no clue what gluten is.

Before going, we called first and spoke with the manager. Each meal starts off with a sanitized pot and the gf noodles are cooked in their own water, with the employees changing their gloves and using new tongs. You have to pay extra for gf noodles but it's well worth it since this was our daughters' favorite restaurant before being diagnosed with celiac. The Mac and cheese sauce is not gf, but we got buttered noodles with shredded cheese on top. They liked it a lot! So happy that one of our favorite restaurants is Celiac aware!

I was very excited to eat the gluten free Mac & cheese. We called to make sure ahead of time that everything would be cooked separately, and told them i had celiac. When I went to order in person I told them the same thing, and still ended up extremely sick sadly

— Some

Pad Thai is a good choice for gluten avoiders. They make gluten free noodles but I’m not sure about cross contamination. Many of the sauces have gluten, including the Mac and cheese sauce. Employee was knowledgeable and helpful. This is a good choice for a quick stir fry.

They have separate cookware they use for allergies and take cross contact very seriously. I have always been happy with the attention they take with my order when I mention gluten allergy.

The staff is really friendly and open to answer questions about their menu. The guy at the register even went to confirm the Alfredo sauce didn't have gluten for me.
