The menu has indicators for what dishes are GF so i didn’t bother asking if the summer rolls and pad thai were gf. When the summer rolls arrived first i took a look at the sauce and just knew it wouldn’t be gf. when i asked the wait staff they said it wasn’t and asked if i needed my food to be gf. they ran back to the kitchen to tell the chef that the pad thai needed to be GF. They changed their sauce for the pad thai, which used to be GF to something else. He was able to get me sweet chilli sauce for the summer rolls and a gf version of the pad thai but nonetheless the food was completely tasteless. the rice noodles were overcooked and it was like chewing gum. Wouldn’t recommend for gf or otherwise.
They have a ton of gluten free options marked on the menu, but when I tried to order an entree, the waitress said it wasn’t actually gluten free. I asked some further questions about other dishes, and she was often unsure if it was actually GF. I didn’t get sick but felt nervous the whole time I was eating. Don’t think I’ll go back. The food was pretty mediocre, but the space is cool.
Wow! So many gluten free options. I’m intolerant so not sure if safe for celiacs but they were able to accommodate my garlic and onion intolerances as well. I’ve spent a lot of time in Thailand and this is the most authentic Thai food I’ve had in North America!
Great Southern Thai cuisine. Menu clearly marked with gluten free dishes.
