Came for breakfast, I have Celiacs and my son is very gluten sensitive (potentially Celiacs). They have gotten free toast, that is it. They did seem ok cooking the today in separate pans for us, but nothing labeled in the menu. They are not super excited when Celiacs walk in. Honestly, head to route 6, the owner is gluten free and literally the majority of the menu is and they are a very safe kitchen.
Have been for dinner several times and always had a good experience. Until this year. Went recently and when I told the server I needed to know what the GF options were, he legit says in a horrified voice, “You don’t have celiac do you?” Like I had Ebola or something. Instant turnoff.
They also didn’t have any GF desserts, which was a huge bummer as we were celebrating my birthday. Ended up going to the Westin and getting the GF carrot cake to celebrate.
There are several menu items you can eat here, and I’ve never gotten sick, but just a weird experience with the sever.
I asked if they have gluten free options and they said there is flour everywhere so they can't guarantee. I asked, how about an omelette with a pan? Reply "can't guarantee the pan won't have gluten in it:". A very Celiac unfriendly encounter. I didn't risk the food, the chilly atmosphere was enough.
They do not have a separate gf menu but I have eaten there twice and both times the wait and kitchen staff has been very knowledgable and helpful. The lamb shank is absolutely amazing.
