My little boy and I went there for lunch and we both loved everything! They can make just about anything on the menu gluten free by omitting croutons or a bun. Our food was fresh, safe for our Celiac & food allergies, & so delicious! We'll be back soon!
I have been glutened at all Northstar locations in Columbus for supposedly gluten-free food.
No
Food and service were fantastic. From the first mention of being Celiac they made sure it was addressed. Waiter was attentive and communicated well with the kitchen. Food was very tasty and it didn't feel like it would take an Act of Congress to make sure the food was safe. Would definitely return.
Yes
Ordered a bunless burger that they assured me would be safe. This was the worst cross contamination I've had in years
No
Expensive, cross contamination, and not many options. I always just get a burger without a bun.
No
Their staff has poisoned me repeatedly and their staff is not properly trained about allergies. If you order talk to the manager. Great food !
No
Very knowledgeable staff. They take allergies seriously and are trained. It is pricey, but very good and a lot of items on their menu can be made gluten free.!
Yes
Overrated and overpriced. A very limited menu to begin with and extraordinarily so once you need gluten-free.
Yes
Not a lot of options, especially for the price.
Yes
Staff was fantastic and some of the best food I've had in ages. The salads are AMAZING and sweet potato fries were fantastic. They don't have gluten-free bread but can make everything "bowl" style and I didn't miss it at all. Super fresh flavours and ingredients. We had the Beechwold salad, pimento cheese appy, and a Thai burrito bowl with roasted chicken. Loved it all
Yes
No options, shitty chains have more gluten free options than this hipster cafe wannabe, good food but if you can't eat gluten don't go
No
Terrible options for allergies. NO breaded options. No gf pancakes. No gf toast. No gf pastries. Basically overpriced eggs, meat and potatoes.
Very knowledgeable staff! Sweet potato fries are coated in rice floor now, so their menu items are very celiac friendly. Just remember to tell them about you're accommodation, and order no bun on sandwich/burger items. :)
Yes
No GF menu! Only a couple of GF choices. The sweet potato fries are rolled in flour before frying, so I wouldn't trust the kitchen. Otherwise a lovely place for non celiacs
Dedicated fryers
Most of the food is organic and they buy local as much as possible. Not a dedicated gluten free menu but many options and they are very aware of cross contamination. The only things that go in their friers are corn tortilla and raw potatoes so both are gluten free! Not to mention, the food is amazing.
