I was so looking forward to dining here. However, I was terribly disappointed. I informed the restaurant that I had celiac disease when making my reservation and had spent time reviewing their "gluten friendly" menu. I wanted to try the blue cheese chips & ribs listed on the separate menu. However, after talking with my server, he informed me those items were fried in a shared fryer. Unfortunately, he didn't provide additional information on what items would be safe on the "gluten friendly" menu. I felt uncomfortable and decided to leave & dine elsewhere. I would recommend Oak update their menu, listing which items are prepared in a shared fryer and additional server training.
Went there for Sunday Brunch. Great décor, staff , and food. Lots of gluten free options. Had the shrimp tacos and they were great. The music was very loud so it was hard to talk to the others on the table. Booth indoor and outdoor seating with wide open windows so lots of fresh air. But it was very cold that day, so remember to dress warmly.
Gluten items noted on menu and server Christian recommended sauce swaps on the artichoke starter for my wife who is Vegan as well as Gluten intolerant. Phenomenal food and drinks. Veggie tacos were seasonal veggies. They put my grilled onions on the side in a cup for my wife to have on her tacos. We returned two nights later as we were so impressed.
