I would absolutely not eat a sandwich here, or anything out of the deli case - saw them smear egg salad directly in a piece of bread from the case.
Stick to prepackaged foods, which are tasty enough. The shop is cute, if wildly overpriced.
the bread was nothing special but OH MY GOD the flavors were AMAZING.
Even if you don’t eat a meal here, the shop is adorable (the oldest grocery in California!) and has tons of prepackaged GF goods. I greatly enjoyed even just walking around it.
Also check out the wine merchant next door! Another beautiful building.
Definitely an EXTREMELY high risk for cross contamination, they got me a new knife, new gloves, and laid down paper for my prep space, but I still don’t feel the best. Not a full blown reaction by my standards for sure, but because of how sensitive I am, I’m feeling it.
Should have stuck with the prepackaged gluten free foods. Not feeling the best after eating a sandwich here from the deli. They have gluten free bread and seemed to know how to prepare the sandwich. Use caution

Great stop for lunch between wine tastings. Gluten free bread was delish! They also had packaged gluten free desserts.
