2015 My husband and I ate here for our anniversary dinner. I was hesitant to eat out since I have Celiac Disease and have had bad cross contamination reactions from eating out at restaurants. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helped ease my fears. They had dedicated GF items on their menu. I had their special of the day which was a filet mignon with sautéed mushrooms, spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. It was extremely delicious! Then they brought out an amazing gluten free dessert! Seriously, this was the best dessert I ever had! We went back in 2022 and it seems the owner has changed. Definitely not the same feel as years past.

Our waiter had no idea what gluten was; when I asked if he knew what items were gluten free he said “that’s like a dairy or vegetarian thing right?” There was one gluten free dish listed on the menu but I had no way to guarantee it would actually be gluten free, so we ended up just leaving.

We went here twice over the weekend because it was so good. I didn’t get sick at all and I’m supeerrrrr sensitive.

The staff here was very friendly and it’s a lovely restaurant but it is definitely not celiac friendly. I had the salmon tacos and within 10 minutes of eating I got terribly sick. I’m still dealing with the achy swollen joints and stomach pain.
This restaurant offers gluten free options but is NOT celiac friendly. When my kids wanted to order their GF pizza and they disclosed that their pizzas are cooked in the same oven as the regular pizzas. We requested that they cook the pizza on foil or a flat pan to avoid direct contamination. They refused. They said that they would not cook it on something else. They then disclosed that the oven is covered with flour on the inside therefore it is NOT CELIAC safe. I kindly requested that they update their website as not to mislead people who thought they could get GF pizza at their restaurant and it actually be GF. The manager said he would not.

Stopped in on a whim Delicious local rock fish tacos Didn't get sick (Sat out on sidewalk they accommodated our dogs with ice water )
Very nice staff. And they knew about the GF needs. They checked on everything for me and made me feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

We ate here twice. Food is very good. Most of the dinner entrees are GF. The menu is marked. Wish there were more vegetarian options. They do not take reservations.

The Ocean Grill is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at. We had the scallops with pork belly that is made in house, the best salad, and the roasted brussel sprouts. The dishes were perfectly prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the flavors were complex and melded perfectly with each other. We've eaten at our share of 5 star restaurants and were very impressed! They also have an extensive wine list with local wines. Gluten free, and also dairy free items are numerous and clearly marked in the menu. Would highly recommend!
They have a lot of gluten free items on the menu. They have a gluten free crust but they prepare the pizza with the regular pizzas and it is put in the oven on the same paddle and cooked on the same surface as the regular. If you have celiac disease or are super sensitive then order one of the other items. I had the lettuce wrapped hamburger which was yummy along with a salad with a yummy gf dressing.

Super celiac and vegan friendly! Delicious food, wonderful service-- one of the few times I've been out to dinner and haven't gotten sick in the slightest! Not to mention a stellar atmosphere and wine pairings.
