The thing that shines best on this restaurant may not be built-in celiac friendly safety, but customer service, definitely. Staff showed genuine effort not only to inform me of which things are and aren’t gluten free, but we’re willing to see how they could possibly make any substitutions in meals (and it’s an authentic Japanese place, they’re not supposed to make substitutions). All in all, great food, amazing service, and a great environment.
I do wish they had meat and fish on their gluten free menu it is shared with the vegetarian and vegan menus so there is none
I ate there yesterday and was clear that I am Celiac. They said all the right things so I ordered a sushi roll. I was sick an hour later. Since the place is small and very busy, I can understand how it be hard to avoid cross contamination. I am crossing it off my list. 😒

Very good food, in this small, deli style spot. they now have sign that warns that they cannot guarantee a gluten free environment. But they do have a gf menu and will do thier best to accomodate. as I understand it, one of the mangers is a gf food blogger.
Yes
The staff is knowledgeable in gluten free preparation and which items are gluten free, they have a dedicated gluten free menu, and takes precaution to ensure it being gluten free even with its kitchen cooking with wheat, the restaurant also has tamari which is a plus.
