A superb destination for people with coeliac or gluten intolerance. Very helpful staff; no gluten on premises and lovely food. Plenty of choice inside including many vegan and vegetarian options. Food can be taken away and frozen. The pies are the best I've eaten since being diagnosed. Go there. But don't be like us a rely on change. Make sure you book in advance.

Went here and travelled 45 minutes to go here and I can say it’s totally worth the drive! Firstly, the staff are so lovely. The owner is coeliac and the place makes you feel so comfortable knowing you can ate anything in the entire facility as it’s 100% gluten free. I have never experienced this in the UK, it’s so rare and it was such a treat. I had a meat and potato pie and giant twix which were both equally delicious.

100% gluten free!! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, food excellent. Wife is always spoilt for choice when we visit and always comes away with a bag of goodies to take home!

First time at Off the Wheaten Track and on top of a fully gluten free menu, the food is incredible.
I ordered a shakshuka bagel (containing gluten free oats so it may not be appropriate for everyone), which contained chorizo, halloumi, fried egg and sun dried tomatoes as well as a latte. All of it was really delicious.
We also picked up a variety of cakes and pastries to have later on in the day, as well as a packet of the bagels and bread.
Highly recommend to anyone who gets the chance to go. I will definitely be going back myself.

I went and picked some items for takeaway, the chorizo aracini was my favourite I wish I had bought 10 😂. The sausage roll was good and I also got a slice of coffee and walnut cake (my fave) and it was amazing! The portion of cake was huge! Friendly staff and a lovely little place, just wish I lived closer!

It’s the first time me and my mum have been (my sister been before) after we were seated the waitress brought us the menus then left us to decide what we wanted after ordering we waited about 5mins the food was amazing and delicious everything in the cafe is gluten free and there’s a very good selection would recommend it also the staff were friendly the only problem is the toilets are down some stairs

I asked them to cater for my 21st birthday, they made me the most amazing Victoria sponge cake along side food for my whole family - lasagne, vegetable lasagne, chilli and foccacia bread. All my non GF family said the food was amazing, and couldn’t tell it was GF. Staff so lovely and helpful with other dietary requirements also.

I absolutely love this dedicated gluten free cafe - great choice for meat eaters, vegetarians & vegans. My favourite is the topped potato cakes. They also do a kids menu- my son loves the fish fingers, chips & beans (all homemade including baked beans). They also sell yummy GF goodies to take home (pies, cakes etc.). Just to add the staff are really lovely and welcoming.

Just the best place to eat.
The food and cake selection here is off the charts. Sausage rolls, scotch eggs, vanilla slices… all the naughty stuff you’ve been missing are here to fest on.
Personal favours of mine is the super-size GF ‘Twix’ bar. Delicious!

This place is amazing and staff are wonderful! The food is spot on (even if you don’t need GF it’s worth eating here) and everything 100% GF so no cross-contamination worries for us with coeliac. My favourite is the custard tart - as this is one of those things that is usually rubbish in GF - but Hayley’s is perfect! But also the potato stacks, the arancini, the Welsh rarebit… all amazing….

Stress free experience! Visited off the wheaten track while out in Altrincham today and it was great. It’s such a nice feeling to be able to order anything from the menu and not have to worry about cross contamination. Food was delicious and we bought a few bits to take home with us. We will be back!

Great find today as I was driving along the M6, I took a detour as I saw this was not far off my route, it’s definitely worth going out of your way for. I brought 5 savoury pies and two sweet pies to take to my son’s house for dinner. I’m the only coeliac but everyone thought they were delicious and commented on the lovely pastry, definitely not typical of GF pastry! Great shop, fab service, lots of lovely things that I will go back and try as soon as I can!

Excellent place. 7 of us went for lunch and everything was delicious. Nice place - very welcoming and attentive staff. Will definitely return. Would like to try a Sunday lunch and signed up as a member as they open in the evenings now and again. Came home with bagels? Spinach and feta pasties and scotch eggs to try. Would highly recommend - worth a drive

A completely gluten free establishment with so many goodies to choose from! We had 3 courses on the Sunday lunch menu. It was so good we ordered a birthday cake for my Coeliac son and took home two gorgeous mince pies. The service was fantastic. What a little gem! The owners are lovely. Can't wait to visit again.
