I have very mixed feelings about this place - on the one hand they have delicious food and amazing outdoor seating next to the river. On the other hand, it is sketchy as far as cross contamination. It’s really hit or miss whether you’ll get an employee who knows about gluten free or not and the menu is not marked other than “sub a gluten free bun no extra charge.” Fries and breakfast potatoes are breaded so they’re a no-go. I ordered a burger with a gluten free bun but it came out slathered in Mayo that I have no doubt was cross contaminated. I have had good luck with the nachos though as they do not contain any gluten ingredients as is. I’ve also had the salmon which was delicious and I didn’t get sick. For breakfast I’ve had the omelet with bacon (no potatoes) and was fine. I wish so badly they would train their staff and be better about gluten free because the food and atmosphere is awesome.

Under new ownership, no gf options marked on menu, new owner doesn’t care to take precautions to prevent CC. Used to love their burgers and fries and their knowledge/ commitment to make a safe environment for everybody to enjoy. Won’t be back.

After I piped a few fries in my mouth I realized that they were battered. This restaurant no longer has a dedicated fried and per their manager they just switched vendors none of the sides are now gluten free and everything else has a high chance of cross contamination. Very disappointed.

Be aware, they changed the fryers so no longer can have fries or tots. It's so upsetting. There are still a few options but limited now.

The only thing positive to say about our visit is that it didn't make me sick (not to say the same about the boyfriend who's not even GF and was sick for 2 days after we ate there). The online menu is more clear on the gluten free options then the paper menu. We both ordered gluten free burgers. They messed up my order and brought me the same burger as my boyfriend and didn't tell me till the wrong burger was sitting in front of me. Because I never feel comfortable sending food back I kept it. The server apologized for the wait because the meat had been frozen. It definitely tasted like a frozen burger. It was dry and tasteless. They do have a dedicated frier so we got fries and the fried brussels sprouts. Those were ok. They also said they make their pizza on Schar's crusts. Honneslty, we will never go back. We'll just go down the street to Slackwater.

Great gluten free/celiacs experience. Got a burger with an Udi’s gluten free bun. No upcharge either. Bun did crumble but was still good. Burger was a bit over cooked but was good otherwise. They have a dedicated GF fryer which was so nice to have tater tots and French fries! Waiter and other staff was knowledgeable and helpful

Great and accommodating staff, delicious food and decent number of options. I’ve eaten here multiple times, including take out, and have never had a problem. Their Root and Stem is my favorite

We just ate here on Saturday night. It was delicious! I was impressed with their gluten free options. Their ranch is made in house and is gluten free! 😋 I had the bbq chicken pizza on a udi gluten free crust and it was phenomenal!
