We have been here several times. If you tell them up front before being seated they will make GF back in the kitchen and have GF Soy Sauce. Each time food has been very good. Has been fine for Gluten Allergy/Intolerance. Can't comment on Celiac.

Ordered eel nigiri only to find out that the eel is not gluten free. Manager came over and informed that they have GF Soy Sauce in the back and can make an entire Hibachi meal in the kitchen!

Horrible for people with Celiac. I informed my server first thing when I came in that I have Celiac disease and explained that I cannot have anything with wheat, which includes the soy sauce and noodles. He said ok and went on his way. I ordered sushi and was brought the normal miso soup and salad with sea food sauce when brought my sushi. I asked to double check that none of the items had soy sauce and he assured me that they did not so I assumed they used a gluten-free substitute. I began eating that food and then a few minutes later the chef came to our grill. I told him that my food would need to be separate and because of an allergy I cannot have any food with wheat, which includes soy sauce. The chef then informed me that all of my food had regular soy sauce in it. I immediately stopped eating and ordered new food. The server was very apologetic, but it didn't keep me from feeling sick later while out with friends and being super sick the next day. They then proceeded to charge me for the sushi and sides that I had ordered that had gluten as well as the food that did not. I then had to argue with the manager for 15 minutes while all of my friends waited. If I had not been persistent and threatened to call the health department I probably would have ended up paying $40 for food that made me sick. I still had to pay for the gluten-free food that was brought to me, but it was better than paying for all of it. Worst experience with a restaurant I have EVER had!!
